Man is not subject to this disposition: his constitution sustains the heat of the Equator, equally as the cold of the Poles. He roams the surface of the whole earth, and finds, or makes, a home every where: -but not every where alike; to enjoy a home he must be accustomed to the [Ordered, by the House of Commons, to be climate; his animal frame must, by printed, 11 July, 1815.] habit, be inured to its qualities, and must be capable, by habit, of accommodating itself to its changes.
