my covenant with Thee, and to seal it in this Sacrament.

Lord, put Thou Thy Laws into my mind, and write them in my heart, and for the Passion of Thy ever-blessed Son, which I now commemorate, be merciful to my unrighteousness, my sins and my iniquities remember no more; be Thou my God, and I will be Thy servant. Amen.

O my soul, taste now and see how gracious the Lord is.

When he delivereth the Bread to any one,
he shall say,

TH

HE Body of our Lord Jesus Christ, which was given for thee, preserve thy body and soul unto everlasting life: Take and eat this in remembrance that Christ died for thee, and feed on Him in thy heart by faith with thanksgiving.

After receiving the Bread

Abide with me Lord.

O Lord God, Who didst sanctify us by the offering of the Body of the Lord Jesus once for all, sanctify me, even me, also, O Heavenly Father.

And the Minister that delivereth the Cup to any one shall say,

THE

HE Blood of our Lord Jesus Christ, which was shed for thee, preserve thy body and soul unto everlasting life. Drink this in remembrance that Christ's Blood was shed for thee, and be thankful.

After receiving the Cup

Blessed Saviour, Thou hast loved us, and hast washed us from our sins in Thine own Blood, and therefore to Thee be glory and dominion for ever and ever.

Thanks be unto Thee, O Lord God, for Thine unspeakable Gift.

Returning from the Altar.

My soul doth magnify the Lord, and my spirit hath rejoiced in God my Saviour.

Blessed Lord Jesu, Thou hast deigned to enter a heart long since Thine by hopes, by vows, by fears. I pray Thee rule and reign therein by faith that is in Thee, O Blessed One.

Leave me not, O Lord; forsake me not that I perish not; but abide with me for

ever.

I fear my own unstedfastness: abide with me, Lord, for with Thee there is no change.

I often despond, and fear I shall fall: abide with me, Lord, my strong Helper, and make me to feel Thy nearness. Abide with me

always, that I may abide in Thee, O God of my salvation. Amen.

Ovictorious, triumphant, enthroned Love, high and lifted up, above the Altar of Thy Sacrament, Thou art in Heaven, dearest Lord, yet art Thou here also, and that doth Thy wondrous Mystery declare.

Ó true note of Thy tender sympathy! O awful Majesty, O subduing sweetness! O sacred, and ineffable, and mysterious Presence of Infinite Love!

Here will I entreat Thee, Blessed Lord, even as of old Thou wast entreated, for Thy little ones, for Thy poor, for the sick, for the dying, for the insane, for the mourners.

O Thou, Who hast all power in the earth where Thou wast once a little child, hear me, my Saviour, for the children Thou so tenderly lovest. Let Thy tenderness guard the newly given life; let Thy Angels of Life guide the little feet.

For the poor, alas, my Lord, for the poor who fear for their daily bread. Give them Thy grace that they may be rich in faith.

O tender Saviour, before Whose Feet whithersoever Thou didst enter town or city or village, the sick were laid and laid only to be healed; mercifully hear me for the many whom Thou lovest who are sick.

Let none who seek Thy heavenly healing lack the comfort of earthly remedies.

For those now entering within the veil, Lord Jesus, receive them.

For the insane, that even in their darkness Thy pity may encompass them, Gracious Light of the world, and may present them faultless before the presence of Thy Glory.

For all who mourn, for widows, for the betrothed sundered by Death. I cannot name them all to Thee, dear Lord, but Thou wilt name them to Thyself. O Saviour, pity all who weep, and weeping seek Thy Feet.

O in this holy hour, when prayers of faith are strong, hear me, O Lord, as I pray for the peace of the whole world; for the peace of Thy holy and universal Church,—the home of Saints, the nurse of heroic souls, the tender and venerable mother of us all.

Behold, O Lord, how Thy faithful Jerusalem rejoiceth in the triumph of Thy Cross and the hope of Thy Return; grant therefore, that those who love her may abide in her peace, and those who depart from her may one day come back to her embrace: comfort the faint-hearted; gather the dispersed; that when all sorrows are taken away, we may be refreshed with the joys of an eternal resurrection, and be made partakers of her peace world without end.

I beseech Thee, Holy Saviour, have y on all who wait in Thy Temple. Be

Thou the very joy of their heart, and their portion for ever.

Most Loving Ruler of all worlds, remember all who reign on earth; and chiefly, O Lord, remember our own dear Sovereign. Look upon her, O Master, in Thine own tender love, and grant to her a profound peace that may not be taken away.

O Son of Peace, be with her House for

ever.

Remember, O Lord, in this holy hour, all who are absent, yet praying with us, joining with us in heart and in desire; and have mercy upon them and us.

O God our Saviour, Hope of the hopeless, hear me, praying as is meet in this Sacrifice of Praise, for every Christian soul in affliction, trouble or agony, in need of Thy great mercy and help.

By the mystery of Thy Cross, wherein Thy whole Creation trusteth for Redemption, for safety, for hope, for mitigation of suffering, by Thy Love-appeasing sacrifice, great Hierarch, hear.

A Thanksgiving.

O how plentiful is Thy goodness, my Lord and my God, which Thou hast laid up for those who fear Thee, for those who trust in Thy Mercy!

Was it not Love enough, dearest Lord, to give Thyself for me on the Cross? Was
