fulness of joy,-Whom not having seen we love, in Whom, though now we see Him not, yet believing, we rejoice with joy unspeakable, and full of glory; for we know that when He shall appear, we shall be like Him, for we shall see Him as He is.

All love, all glory, be to Thee, O Father, in the Highest, even the only Son of Thy Love.

O much adored, and longed for, our Joy and Crown, behold, we come to Thee, dear Lord, in the Holy Way of Thy appointing, the mystery of Thy Love, that Thou mayest be glorified.

We thank Thee for him whom we have lost, and Thou hast found. For, O Good Shepherd, Thou didst come, and call for him. He knew Thy tender Voice; he followed; and now in the dear, dear Land he is in peace.

O Love of Love, suffering so long, so infinitely kind, because Thy loving kindness is better than life itself, our lips shall praise Thee.

Jesu, Master, Lord and Christ, spare us, Lord most Holy, O spare us to love Thee more, before we too go hence, and are no

more seen.

Dear and Holy Spirit, art Thou not that other Comforter, abiding for ever with the Church of the First-born?

O Fountain of Living Waters, all our fresh springs are in Thee.

The wondrous robe of the redeemed soul is laid aside for awhile, O Glorious Spirit, hast Thou left Thy holy temple.

But there is rest for the dear, dear soul, delivered from its prison-house of pain, peaceful gladness for the true of heart.

He is in the abode of those who rejoice, with Thy Inspired, the far-seeing company of Prophets, who trusted in Thee, yea, in the shadow of great darkness cast by the approaching Form of the Son of the Most High, with the mighty Heroes of the Faith, greatest soldiers of my Lord, the glory of the Christ, Friends of the suffering God, with Princes and Fathers of the Church, called by Thee to the lesser Apostolate, with loyal Presbyters, and stedfast Confessors, Thy own true Chivalry, with all souls who here welcomed the bitter reign of the Holy Cross, deathless with the rejoicing Lord, glad in the glorious liberty wherewith the Christ hath made him free.

The Lord our God be with us; let Him not leave us nor forsake us ; may He direct. our hearts into patient waiting until the clouds bear back our King, into hopeful waiting for the endless glorious end of all things, when He Who wept for our sins shall wipe the tears from off all faces, and we shall be ever with the Lord.
