9. O give me the Comfort of thy Help again, and uphold, me with thy free Spirit: Then will I teach thy Ways unto the wicked, and Sinners fhall be converted unto Thee.

10. Deliver me from Blood guiltinefs, O God, thou God of my Salvation, and my Tongue shall fing aloud of thy Righteoufnels.

11. O Lord, open Thou my Lips, and my Mouth fhall fhew forth thy Praise.

12. For Thou defireft not Sacrifice, elfe would I give it Thee; but Thou delighteft not in burnt-offerings.

13. The Sacrifice of God is a broken Spirit; a broken and a contrite Heart, O God, Thou wilt not defpife.

14. O be favorable and gracious unto Sion; build Thou the Walls of Jerufalem.

15. Then fhalt Thou be praised with the Sacrifices of Righteoufnefe, with the burnt-offerings and Oblations : then shall they offer young Bullocks upon thine Altar.

16. I WAITED patiently for the Lord, and He inclined unto me, and heard my calling. (Pf. xl.)

17. He brought me alfo out of the horrible Pit, out of the Mire and Clay, and fet my Feet upon the Rock, and established my Goings; and He hath put a new Song in my Mouth, even a Thanksgiving unto our God.

18. Many fhall fee it and fear, and shall put their Truft in the Lord.

19. Bleffed is the Man that maketh the Lord his Truft, and respecteth not the proud, and fuch as go about with Lies.

20. O Lord my God, many and great are the wond'rous Works which Thou haft done, as be alfo thy Thoughts, which are to Us-ward; yet there is no Man, that can reckon them up in order unto Thee.

21. If I would declare and speak of them, they are more than I am able to exprefs.

22. Sacrifice and Meat-offering Thou would't not defire; but mine Ears haft Thou opened.

23. Burnt-offerings and Sacrifice for Sin halt Thou not required: then faid I, Lo, I come; in the Volume of the Book it is written of me, that I fhould fulfill thy Will, O my God; I am content to do it, yea, thy Law is within my Heart.

24. I have declared thy Righteousness in the great Congregation lo, I will not refrain my Lips, O Lord, and

that Thou knoweft.

;

25. I have not hid thy Righteousness within my Heart my Talk hath been of thy Truth, and of thy Salvation; I have not concealed thy loving-Kindness, and thy Truth, from the great Congregation.

26. Withdraw not Thou thy tender Mercies from me, O Lord; let thy loving-Kindness and thy Truth continually preserve me.

27. For innumerable Troubles are come about me, my Sins have taken fuch hold upon me, that I am not able to look up; yea, they are more in Number than the Hairs of my Head, and therefore my Heart hath failed me,

28. Be pleafed, O Lord, to deliver me; make hafte, O Lord, to help me.

29. Let All thofe, that feek Thee, be joyful and glad in Thee; and let Such as love thy Salvation, fay alway, the Lord be praised.

30. As for me, I am poor and needy, but the Lord careth for me.

31. Thou art my Helper and Redeemer; make no long tarrying, O my God.

32. Now To HIM who gave himself for our Sins, that He might deliver us from this prefent evil World, according to the Will of God and our Father; to whom be Glory for ever and ever. Amen. (Galat, i. 4.)
