Man's fallen condition.

COLLECT, EPISTLE, GOSPEL, ARTICLE IX.

1. As by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned. ROM. V. 12.

2. The LORD looked down from heaven upon the children of men, to see if there were any that did understand, and seek God. They are all gone aside, they are all together become filthy: there is none that doeth good, no, not one. PSALM XIV. 2, 3.

3. For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God. Rom. iii. 23.

4. If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. 1 JOHN i. 8.

The family of God.

COLLECT, EPISTLE.

1. I bow my knees unto the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, of whom the whole family in heaven and earth is named. ЕPH. iii. 14-15.

2. And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ. viii. 17.

3. Now, therefore, ye are no more strangers and foreigners, but fellow-citizens with the saints, and of the household of God: EPH. ii. 19.

1. Endeavouring to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace. EPH. iv. 3.

2. There is one body, and one spirit, even as ye are called in one hope of your calling; one Lord, one faith, one baptism, one God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all. ЕPH. iv. 4, 5, 6.

3. Now I beseech you, brethren, by the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that ye all speak the same thing, and that there be no divisions among you; but that ye be perfectly joined together in the same mind and in the same judgment. I COR. i. 10.

4. Now I beseech you, brethren, mark them which cause divisions and offences contrary to the doctrine which ye have learned; and avoid them. ROM. xvi. 17. 5. Blessed are the peacemakers: for they shall be called the children of God. MATT. V. 9.

6. Behold, how good and how pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity! Ps. cxxxiii. 1.
