The Christian's Enemies.

COLLECT, EPISTLE.

1. Know ye not that the friendship of the world is enmity with God? whosoever therefore will be a friend of the world is the enemy of God. JAMES iv. 4.

2. Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him. 1 JOHN ii. 15.

3. For I delight in the law of God after the inward man: But I see another law in my members, warring against the law of my mind, and bringing me into captivity to the law of sin which is in my members. ROM. vii. 22-23.
