This is a volume of considerable rarity. It is interspersed with
translations of Petrarch's Sonnets and other pieces, and has
appended to it an original poem by Tofte, entitled, "The
Frvits of Jealousic, or a Love (but not loving) Letter." This
poem is in 66 twelve-line stanzas, the concluding one being
subscribed "R. M." for Markham, under whose name Tofte's
translation of Ariosto's Satires appeared.
