Some years (not very many) have pafl'ed over-us lime; and they have brought their changes along with them. Yet they have not much alter ed me; and you, perhaps, they have altered {till leis. With a mind averfe to bufile, and with a heart whole firings were never tuned to any high (trains of ambition, your wifhes were always far he neath your talents perhaps, and for that very reafon, benyith your duties alfo.
