The Gospel. S. John v. 24.
Verily, verily, I fay unto you, He that hear
eth my word, and believeth on him that fent me, hath everlafting life, and fhall not come into condemnation; but is paffed from death unto life.
After which shall be faid the Nicene Creed; and then the Prieft fhall go directly to the Offertory, and fo proceed according to the form before prefcribed of adminiftring the Holy Communion. At the time of the diftribution of the Holy Sacrament, the Priest shall firft receive the Communion bimfelf, and after adminifter to them that are appointed to communicate with the fick; and last of all to the fick person.
And if there be more fick perfons, who are to receive the Holy Communion the fame day that the Curate doth celebrate in any fick man's house ; then shall be there reserve so much of the Sacrament of the Body and Blood, as fhall ferve the other fick perfons, and fuch as be appointed to communicate with them; and fhall immediately carry it, and adminifter it unto them, in the fame manner as if he carried it directly from the Church, beginning with Ye that do truly and
In cafes of Neceffity, when none can be gotten to communicate with the fick in their houses, upon special request of the fick perfon, the Priest may only communicate with him.
