ORDINARIO DE LA MISA.

El Sacerdote, estando delante del altar, hace la señal de la Cruz y dice lo que sigue con el Ministro ó Ayudante, que le responde:

S. EN el nombre del Padre y del Hijo y del Espíritu Santo. Amén.

S. Me acercaré al altar de Dios.

M. De Dios, que llena mi juventud de una santa alegría.

SALMO XLII.

S. JUZGADME, Señor, y volved por mi causa delante de la gente no santa; y libradme del hombre inicuo y engañador.

M. Porque vos solo, Dios mío, sois mi fortaleza, ¿por qué me habéis abandonado? y ¿por qué camino yo con rostro triste cuando me aflige mi enemigo?

S. Iluminadme con vuestra luz, y enseñadme con vuestra verdad: ellas son las que me han conducido, y me han introducido en vuestro monte santo y en vuestros tabernáculos.

M. Y yo me acercaré al altar de Dios, al Dios que llena mi juventud de una santa alegría.

S. Cantaré vuestras alabanzas sobre el harpa, ¡ oh, mi Dios y mi Señor! Alma mía, ¿por qué estás triste, y me llenas de turbación?

M. Confía en Dios, porque yo le rendiré aún nuevas acciones de gracias: él es la salud y la alegría de mi semblante; él es mi Dios.

S. Gloria al Padre y al Hijo y al Espíritu Santo.

A. As it was in the beginning, is now, and ever shall be, world without end.

P. I will go unto the altar of God.

A. To God, who giveth joy to my youth.
P. Our help is in the name of the Lord.

THE CONFIteor.

P. I CONFESS to Almighty God, to blessed Mary ever Virgin, to blessed Michael the Archangel, to blessed John the Baptist, to the Holy Apostles Peter and Paul, to all the Saints, and to you, brethren, that I have sinned exceedingly in thought, word, and deed, through my fault, through my fault, through my most grievous fault. Therefore, I beseech the blessed Mary ever Virgin, blessed Michael the Archangel, blessed John the Baptist, the Holy Apostles Peter and Paul, and all the Saints, and you, brethren, to pray to the Lord our God for me.

The Server responds:

A. May the Almighty God have mercy upon thee, forgive thee thy sins, and bring thee to life everlasting.

The Priest says: Amen.

The Servers say the Confiteor, except that where the Priest says to you, brethren, the Servers say to you, Father.

M. Ahora y siempre y por todos los siglos de los siglos. Amén.

LA CONFESIÓN.

S. Yo pecador me confieso á Dios Todopoderoso, á la bienaventurada siempre Virgen María, al bienaventurado San Miguel Arcángel, al bienaventurado San Juan Bautista, los santos Apóstoles San Pedro y Pablo, á todos los santos, y á vosotros, ó hermanos míos, que pequé gravemente de pensamiento, palabra y obra, por mi culpa, por mi culpa, por mi grandísima culpa; por tanto ruego á la bienaventurada siempre Virgen María, al bienaventurado San Miguel Arcángel, al bienaventurado San Juan Bautista, á los santos Apóstoles San Pedro y San Pablo, á todos los santos, y á vosotros, ó hermanos míos, que roguéis por mí á Dios nuestro Señor.

El Ministro ó Ayudante responde:

Dios Todopoderoso se compadezca y tenga misericordia de ti, y después de perdonados tus pecados te lleve á la vida eterna.

El Sacerdote responde: Amén.

Los Ministros ó Ayudantes repiten la Confesión, y donde el Sacerdote dice á vosotros, oh hermanos míos, se dice: á ti, Padre.

Then the Priest says:

May Almighty God be merciful to you, forgive you your sins, and bring you to everlasting life. A. Amen.

P. May the Almighty and merciful Lord grant us pardon, absolution, and remission of our sins.

A. Amen.

P. Thou wilt turn again, O God, and quicken us. A. And thy people shall rejoice in thee.

P. Show us, O Lord, thy mercy.

A. And grant us thy salvation.

P. O Lord, hear my prayer.

A. And let my cry come unto thee.
P. The Lord be with you.

A. And with thy spirit.

P. Let us pray.

TAKE away from us our iniquities, we beseech thee, O Lord; that we may be worthy to enter with pure minds into the Holy of Holies; through Christ our Lord. Amen.

The Priest, going up to the altar and kissing it, says:

WE beseech thee, O Lord, by the merits of thy Saints whose relics are here, and of all the Saints, that thou wouldst vouchsafe to forgive me all my sins. Amen.

The Priest goes to the right side and says the Introit.

He then goes to the middle of the altar and says:

Lord, have mercy.

A. Lord, have mercy.

Después dice el Sacerdote :

Dios Todopoderoso tenga misericordia de vosotros, y después de perdonados vuestros pecados os lleve á la vida eterna.

M. Amén.

El Señor omnipotente y misericordioso nos conceda el perdón, la absolución y remisión de nuestros pecados. M. Amén.

S. Oh Dios, volveos hacia nosotros, y nos daréis la vida.

M. Y tu pueblo se alegrará en ti.

S. Mostradnos, Señor, vuestra misericordia.
M. Y dadnos vuestra salud.

S. Señor, escuchad mis ruegos.

M. Y mis clamores lleguen hasta vos.

S. El Señor sea con vosotros.

M. Y con tu espíritu.

S. Roguemos.

QUITAD, Señor, de nosotros y borrad nuestras iniquidades, para que así podamos entrar con un corazón y alma puros en vuestro santuario; por Jesucristo Señor nuestro. Amén.

El Sacerdote dice, acercándose al altar y besándole :

Os pedimos, Señor, por los méritos de vuestros santos, cuyas reliquias están en este altar, y por los méritos de todos los demás bienaventurados, que os dignéis perdonar mis pecados. Amén.

El sacerdote va al lado derecho y dice el Introito.

Después viene al medio del altar y dice:

Señor, tened piedad de nosotros.

M. Señor, tened piedad de nosotros.
