INTRODUCTION.

FTER I had finished the

preceeding difcourse on miracles, I thought it could be no ways improper to annex to it, fome confiderations, in answer to a late book, entituled A Difcourfe of the grounds and reasons of the ChriStian religion and the rather, because the author of it hath been pleased to affert, that miracles are of no use to prove the truth of Chriftianity; which I hope, I shall make appear, that he is not able to maintain.
