Confidence.

130. Confidence in God. Pf. lxv. 5. O God our Salvation who art the Confidence of the ends of the Earth.

Prov. iii. 25. Be not afraid of sudden Fear, neither of the Defolation of the Wicked when it cometh.

Ver. 25. For the Lord fhall be thy Confidence, and fhall keep thy Feet from being taken.

xiv. 26. In the Fear of the Lord is ftrong Confidence.

Ifa. xxx. 15. Thus faith the Lord in Quietnefs and Confidence fhall be your Strength.

2 Cor. v. 6. We are confident and willing, rather to be absent from the Body.

Eph. iii. 12. In Chrift Jefus our Lord, we have Boldness and Access with Confidence, by the Faith of him.

Phil. i 6. Being confident of this that, he that hath begun a good Work in you, will perform it until the Day of Jefus Chrift.

Heb. iii. 6. We are Chrift's Houfe, if we hold faft the Confidence, and the rejoicing of the Hope firm unto the End.

· 35. Caft not away your Confidence which hath great Recompence of Reward.

Seeking God.

134. Seeking God commanded. Pf. xxvii. 8. When thou faidft, seek ye my Face, my Heart faid unto thee, thy Face, Lord, will I seek. cv. 4. Seek the Lord and his Strength, feek his Face continually. Ifa. viii. 19. Should not a People feek to their God.
