Reproach.

Reviling.

190. Reviling practifed by the Wicked, and endured by the Godly. Exod. xxii. 28. Thou shalt not revile the Gods, nor curse the Ruler of thy People, Acts 23. 4, 5.

1 Cor. vi. 10. Neither Thieves, nor Covetous, nor Drunkards, nor Revilers, &c. fhall inherit the Kingdom of God.

Curfing.

194. Curfing forbidden in Scripture, and avoided by the Righteous. Exod. xxii. 28. Thou shalt not curfe the Ruler of thy People. Lev. xix. 14. Thou shalt not curfe the Deaf, nor put a Stumblingblock before the Blind.

Job xxxi. 30. Job faid, neither have I fuffered my Mouth to fin, by wishing a Curfe to his Soul that hated me.
