Luke xxi.35. For as a Snare shall it come on all them that dwell on the Face of the Earth. Luke xxi. 36. Pf. cii. 25. The Heavens are the Work of thine Hands. Ver. 26. They fhall perish but thou fhalt endure, yea all of them shall f wax old like a Garment, and as a Vesture fhalt thou, (Chrift, Heb. 1. 10, 11, 12.) change them and they fhall be changed. 2 Pet. iii 7. The Heavens and the Earth which are now are kept in Store, referved unto Fire, against the Day of Judgment and Perdition of ungodly Men: Ver. 10. The Heavens fhall pass away with a great Noise, and the Elements fhall melt with fervent Heat, the Earth alfo and the Works that are therein fhall be burnt up. Ver. 12. Ver. 13. The Sun fhall be no more thy Light by Day, neither shall the Moon give Light unto thee, but the Lord shall be unto thee an everlasting Light, and thy God thy Glory. Ver. 20. Matt. vi. 20. Lay up for yourselves Treafures in Heaven, where neither Moth nor Ruft doth corrupt nor Thieves break through and steal. Rev. vii. 15. They are before the Throne of God, and ferve him Day and Night in his Temple, and he that fitteth on the Throne fhall lead them. Ver. 16. And they fhall hunger no more, neither thirst any more, neither shall the Sun light on them nor any Heat. Ver. 17. For the Lamb which is in the Midft of the Throne fhall feed them, and fhall lead them unto living Fountains of Waters, and God fhall wipe away all Tears from their Eyes. N. B. The above Texts from Ifaiah- though prophetical of the happy State of the Church on Earth, are moft ftrictly true and expreflive of the Happiness of glorified Saints in Heaven. Rev. xxi. 4. God fhall wipe away all Tears from their Eyes, and there shall be no more Death, neither Sorrow nor Crying, neither shall there be any more Pain, for the former Things are paffed away. xxii. 3. There shall be no more Curfe, but the Throne of God and of the Lamb fhall be in it, and his Servants fhall ferve him. 14. Eternal Life is from God Pf. xi. 6. Thou wilt fhew me the Path of Life.
