Sanctification.

20. God fan&ified the Jews. Exod. xxxi. 13. The Sabbath is a Sign between me and you throughout our Generations: that ye may know that I am the Lord that doth fanctify you. Lev. 20. 8.-21. 8. 15. Ezek. 20. 12.

Ezek. xxvii. 28. The Heathen fhall know, that I the Lord do fanctify Ifrael, when my Sanctuary fhall be in the midst of them.

22. God doth fandlify Chriftian.. 1 Theff. iv. 3. This is the Will of God, even your Sanctification.

1 Sam. xxii. 12. The Lord will not forfake his People, for his great Name's fake, because it hath pleased the Lord to make you his People. Ezra ix. 9. God hath not forfaken us in our Bondage, but hath extended Mercy to us, in the Sight of the Kings of Perfia.

32. God forfaketh the Wicked. Deut. xxxi. 16. The Lord faid, this People will forfake me, and break my Covenant.

Ver. 17. Then mine Anger fhall be kindled against them, and I will forfake them.

Judg. vi. 13. The Lord hath forfaken us, and delivered us into the Hands of Enemies.

2 Kings xxvi. 14. Thus faith the Lord, I will forfake the Remnant of my Inheritance, and deliver them into the Hand of their Enemies, because of their Sins.

2 Kings xiii. 23. The Lord had Compaffion on his People, and would not deftroy them, neither caft them off.
