My heart said unto thee, Thy face,

LORD, will I seek.

Hide not thy face far from me;
Put not thy servant away in anger:

Thou hast been my help; leave me not, Neither forsake me, O God of my salvation.

When my father and my mother for

sake me,

Then the LORD will take me up.
Teach me thy way, O LORD,

And lead me in a plain path, because of mine enemies.

Deliver me not over unto the will of mine enemies :

For false witnesses are risen up against me,

And such as breathe out cruelty.

I had fainted, unless I had believed to see the goodness of the LORD in the land of the living.

:

for my sake. Rejoice, and be exceeding glad for great is your reward in heaven: for so persecuted they the prophets which were before you.— Matt. v. 3-12.

IX. God's gracious invitation. Ho, every one that thirsteth,

Come ye to the waters,

And he that hath no money;
Come ye, buy, and eat;

Yea, come, buy wine and milk
Without money and without price.
Wherefore do ye spend money for
that which is not bread?

And your labour for that which satisfieth not?

Hearken diligently unto me, and eat ye that which is good,

And let your soul delight itself in '

fatness.

Incline your ear, and come unto me : Hear, and your soul suall live:

And I will make an everlasting cove

nant with you,

Even the sure mercies of Davic. Behold, I have given him for a witness to the people,

A leader and commander to the people.

Behold, thou shalt call a nation that thou knowest not,

And nations that knew not thee shall

run unto thee

Because of the LORD thy God,

And for the Holy One of Israel; for he hath glorified thee.-Isa. Iv.

And many charged him that he should hold his peace: but he cried the more a great deal, Thou Son of David, have mercy on me.

And Jesus stood still, and commanded him to be called. And they call the blind man, saying unto him, Be of good comfort, rise; he calleth

And Jesus answered and said unto him, What wilt thou that I should do unto thee? The blind man said unto him, Lord, that I might receive my sight. And Jesus said unto him, Go thy way; thy faith hath made thee whole. And immediately he received his sight, and followed Jesus in the way.-Mark x. 46–52.
