AFTER the long-continued approbation with which thefe Volumes have been honoured by the Public, the Author of them does not think it justifiable to make many additions or alterations. He has therefore done little more, in this Edition, than correct the prefs from beginning to end; and he hopes that the Errata are few and inconfiderable.
