For the people shall dwell at Zion in Jerusalem thou shalt weep no more;

:

He will be very gracious unto thee at the voice of thy cry when he shall hear

it he will answer thee.

And though the Lord give you the bread of adversity and the water of affliction;

Yet shall not thy teachers be removed into a corner any more: but thine eyes shall see thy teachers,

And thine ears shall hear a word behind thee, saying: This is the way, walk ye in it; When ye turn to the right hand and when ye turn to the left.

HYMN XLVII.

Fourth Sunday after Trinity.

Isaiah xxxv. 3-6. 8-10.

Strengthen ye the weak hands and confirm the feeble knees.

Say unto them that are of a fearful heart, Be strong, fear not behold your God will come with vengeance;

Even God with a recompence: he will come and save you.

Then the eyes of the blind shall be opened: and the ears of the deaf unstopped. Then shall the lame man leap as an hart : and the tongue of the dumb shall sing.

For in the wilderness shall waters break out and streams in the desert.

:

And an highway shall be there, and a way and it shall be called the way of holiness;

The unclean shall not pass over it, but it shall be for those the wayfaring men though fools shall not err therein.

No lion shall be there: nor any ravenous beast shall go up thereon;

It shall not be found there but the redeemed shall walk there.

And the ransomed of the Lord shall return, and come to Zion: with songs and everlasting joy upon their heads;

They shall obtain joy and gladness and sorrow and sighing shall flee away.

Fifth Sunday after Trinity.

1 Habakkuk iii. 17. 2 Psalm lxxiii. 25, 26.
3 Psalm xvi. 11.

Although the fig tree shall not blossom : neither shall fruit be in the vines;

The labour of the olive shall fail: and the fields shall yield no meat;

The flock shall be cut off from the fold: and there shall be no herd in the stalls;

Yet I will rejoice in the LORD: I will joy in the God of my salvation.

2 Whom have I in heaven but thee: and there is none upon earth that I desire beside thee.

My flesh and my heart faileth : but God is the strength of my heart and my portion for ever.

3 Thou wilt shew me the path of life: in thy presence is fulness of joy;

:

And at thy right hand there are pleasures for evermore.

HYMN XLIX.

Sixth Sunday after Trinity.

Hebrews x. 19-25.

Having therefore, brethren, boldness to enter into the holiest : by the blood of Jesus, By a new and living way: which he hath consecrated for us;

Through the veil : that is to say, his flesh; And having an High Priest over the house of God;

Let us draw near with a true heart: in full assurance of faith,

Having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience and our bodies washed with pure water.

Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering for he is faithful that promised;

:

And let us consider one another to provoke unto love and to good works.

Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together as the manner of some is; But exhorting one another and so much the more as ye see the day approaching.

HYMN L.

Seventh Sunday after Trinity.
Isaiah lv. 1-3. 6, 7.

Ho, every one that thirsteth, come ye the waters and he that hath no money;

:

to

Come ye buy and eat: yea, come, buy wine and milk without money and without price. Wherefore do ye spend money for that which is not bread and your labour for that which satisfieth not?

Hearken diligently unto me, and eat ye that which is good and let your soul delight itself in fatness.

Incline your ear, and come unto me: hear, and your soul shall live;

And I will make an everlasting covenant with you even the sure mercies of David. Seek ye the LORD while he may be found: call him while he is near; upon Let the wicked forsake his way : and the unrighteous man his thoughts;

And let him return unto the LORD: and

he will have mercy upon him;

And to our God: for he will abundantly pardon.
