Dwight Lyman Moody, also known as D.L. Moody, was an American evangelist and publisher who founded the Moody Church, Northfield School and Mount Hermon School in Massachusetts (now the Northfield Mount Hermon School), the Moody Bible Institute and Moody Publishers. Sowing and Reaping distills the ongoing discussion of receiving rewards for why you give away, the Bible passage 'Whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap.' Gal. vi: 7 into an easily understood concept including warnings that God knows your motives and will reward you based on those. Sowing and Reaping includes: Sowing and Reaping Be Not Deceived: God Is Not Mocked When a Man Sows, He Expects to Reap A Man Reaps the Same Kind as He Sows A Man Reaps More than He Sows Ignorance of the Seed Makes No Difference Forgiveness and Retribution Warning
