Blessed be God, even the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies, and the God of all comfort;

Who comforteth us in all our tribulation, that we may be able to comfort them which are in any trouble, by the comfort wherewith we ourselves are comforted of God.-2 Cor. i. 3, 4.

Zommandments of God (blessed are they who keep the).

Blessed are they that do his commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, aud may enter in through the gates into the city.Rev. xxii. 14.

Blessed are they that hear the word of God, and keep it.—Luke xi. 28.

Consolation through Christ.

Our consolation also aboundeth by Christ.-2 Cor. i. 5.

Contrite (God gives peace to the).

Thus saith the high and lofty One that inhabiteth eternity, whose name is Holy; I dwell in the high and holy place, with him also that is of a contrite and humble spirit, to revive the spirit of the humble, and to revive the heart of the contrite ones.-Isaiah lvii. 15.

He hath remembered his covenant for ever, the word which he commanded to a thousand generations.-Psalm cv. 8.

Bead (the glorious resurrection of the).

There is one glory of the sun, and another glory of the moon, and

another glory of the stars: for one star differeth from another star in glory.

So also is the resurrection of the dead. It is sown in corruption; it is raised in incorruption :

It is sown in dishonour; it is raised in glory: it is sown in weakness; it is raised in power:

It is sown a natural body; it is raised a spiritual body. There is a natural body, and there is a spiritual body.—1 Cor. xv. 41, 42, 43, 44.

Death not to be feared by those who trust in God.

Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.-Psalm xxiii. 4.

Grace be to you and peace from God the Father, and from our Lord Jesus Christ.

Who gave himself for our sins, that he might deliver us from this present evil world, according to the will of God and our Father.Gal. i. 3, 4.

Blessed are the dead which die in the Lord from henceforth.-Rev. xiv. 13.

Sternal life, the gift of Bos.

With thee is the fountian of life: in thy light shall we see light.— Psalm xxxvi. 9.

The gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.-Rom. vi. 23.

This is the promise that he hath promised us, even eternal life.1 John, ii. 25.

God hath given to us eternal life, and this life is in his Son.-1 John, v. 11.

Faith (all things possible to).

Jesus said unto him, If thou canst believe, all things are possible to him that believeth.-Mark ix. 23.

Baith in Christ works salvation.

Ye are all the children of God by faith in Christ Jesus.-Gal. iii. 26.

Baith supports.

By faith ye stand.-2 Cor. i. 24.

Baithful (the) are cared for by the ord.

The Lord preserveth the faithful.-Psalm xxxi. 23.

Like as a father pitieth his children, so the Lord pitieth them that fear him.

Thou, O Lord, art our father, our redeemer; thy name is from everlasting.-Isaiah lxiii, 16.

Batherless (God is the Father of the).

A father of the fatherless, and a judge of the widows, is God in his holy habitation.-Psalm lxviii. 5.

The secret of the Lord is with them that fear him; and he will show them his covenant.-Psalm xxv. 14.

Oh, how great is thy goodness, which thou hast laid up for them that fear thee; which thou hast wrought for them that trust in thee before the sons of men.-Psalm xxxi. 19.

His salvation is nigh them that fear him.-Psalm 1xxxv. 9.

Ye that fear the Lord, trust in the Lord: he is their help and their shield.-Psalm cxv. 11.

The fear of the Lord prolongeth days.—Prov. x. 27.

The fear of the Lord is a fountain of life, to depart from the snares of death.-Prov. xiv. 27.

Better is little with the fear of the Lord than great treasure and trouble therewith.-Prov. xv. 16.

The fear of the Lord tendeth to life: and he that hath it shall abide satisfied; he shall not be visited with evil.-Prov. xix. 23.

God is our God for ever and ever: he will be our guide even unto death.-Psalm xlviii. 14.

Thou art good, and doest good.-Psalm cxix. 68.

The kingdom of God is not meat and drink; but righteousness, and peace, and joy in the Holy Ghost.

For he that in these things serveth Christ is acceptable to God, and approved of men.-Rom. xiv.17, 18.

Sos, our salvation.

Salvation belongeth unto the Lord.—Psalm iii. 8.

In God is my salvation and my glory: the rock of my strength, and my refuge, is in God.-Psalm lxii. 7.

He that is our God is the God of salvation.-Psalm lxviii. 20.

God is my king of old, working salvation in the midst of the earth.Psalm lxiv. 12.
