The earth shall be filled with the knowledge of the glory of the Lord' as the waters cover the sea.-Hab. ii. 14.

Baw of God (peace for those who keep the).

Forget not my law; but let thine heart keep my commandments: For length of days, and long life, and peace, shall they add to thee.— Prov. iii. 1, 2.

Week (God's gracious promise to the).

The meek will he guide in judgment: and the meek will he teach his way.-Psalm xxv. 9.

The meek shall inherit the earth; and shall delight themselves in the abundance of peace.-Psalm xxxvii. 11.

The Lord taketh pleasure in his people: he will beautify the meek with salvation.-Psalm cxlix. 4.

Blessed are the meek for they shall inherit the earth.-Matt. v. 5.

Merciful (God will reward the).

Blessed are the merciful: for they shall obtain mercy.-Matt. v. 7.

Judge not, and ye shall not be judged: condemn not, and ye shall not be condemned: forgive, and ye shall be forgiven.--Luke vi. 37.

Wercy (the divine promises of).

With everlasting kindness will I have mercy on thee, saith the Lord thy Redeemer.

For this is as the waters of Noah unto me: for as I have sworn that the waters of Noah should no more go over the earth; so have I sworn that I would not be wroth with thee, nor rebuke thee.

For the mountains shall depart, and the hills be removed; but my kindness shall not depart from thee, neither shall the covenant of my peace be removed, saith the Lord that hath mercy on thee.-Isaiah liv. 8, 9, 10.

Incline your ear, and come unto me: hear, and your soul shall live.Isaiah. lv. 3.

Let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts: and let him return unto the Lord, and he will have mercy upon him; and to our God, for he will abundantly pardon.—Isaiah lv. 7.

The Lord will not cast off for ever:

But though he cause grief, yet will he have compassion according to the multitude of his mercies.

For he doth not afflict willingly nor grieve the children of men.- Lam. iii. 31, 32, 33.

I will say to them which were not my people, Thou art my people; and they shall say, Thou art my God.-Hosea ii. 23.

The Lord thy God in the midst of thee is mighty; he will save, he will rejoice over thee with joy; he will rest in his love, he will joy over thee with singing.-Zeph. iii. 17.

All shall know me, from the least to the greatest.

For I will be merciful to their unrighteousness, and their sins and their iniquities will I remember no more.-Heb. viii. 11, 12.

Tillennium (glories of the).

Blessed and holy is he that hath part in the first resurrection: on such the second death hath no power, but they shall be Priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with him a thousand years.-Rev, xx. 6.

Mourners (invitation of (Christ to).

Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.

Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart and ye shall find rest unto your souls.

For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.—Matt. xi. 28, 29, 30.

Oppressed (God the refuge of the).

The Lord also will be a refuge for the oppressed, a refuge in times of trouble.-Psalm ix. 9.

To him that overcometh will I give to eat of the tree of life, which is in the midst of the paradise of God.—Rev. ii. 7.

He that overcometh, the same shall be clothed in white raiment; and I will not blot out his name out of the book of life, but I will confess his name before my Father, and before his angels.-Rev. iii. 5.

Him that overcometh will I make a pillar in the temple of my God, and he shall go no more out.-Rev. iii. 12.

To him that overcometh will I grant to sit with me in my throne, even as I also overcame, and am set down with my Father in his throne.Rev. iii. 21.

Beacemakers shall be exalted.

Blessed are the peacemakers: for they shall be called the children of God.-Matt. v. 9.

oor (the) will be remembered by God.

The needy shall not alway be forgotten: the expectation of the poor shall not perish for ever.-Psalm ix. 18.

He shall stand at the right hand of the poor, to save him from those that condemn his soul.-Psalm cix. 31.

When the poor and needy seek water, and there is none, and their tongue faileth for thirst, I the Lord will hear them.—Isaiah xli. 17.

Prayer of faith is acceptable to the Cord.

The prayer of faith shall save the sick, and the Lord shall raise him up; and if he have committed sins, they shall be forgiven him.— James v. 15.

Providence (divine) anticipates our

Bants.

Take no thought, saying, What shall we eat? or, What shall we drink? or, Wherewithal shall we be clothed?

(For after all these things do the Gentiles seek:) for your heavenly Father knoweth that ye have need of all these things.

But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.-Matt. vi. 31, 32, 33.

Seek ye not what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink, neither be ye of doubtful mind.

For all these things do the nations of the world seek after: and your Father knoweth that ye have need of these things.

But rather seek ye the kingdom of God; and all these things shall be added unto you.—Luke xii. 29, 30, 31.

Be careful for nothing; but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.

And the peace of God which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.-Phil. iv. 6, 7.

God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.-Phil. iv. 19.

Redeemed (happiness of the).

The tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, and be their God.

And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.-Rev. xxi. 3, 4.

Regeneration promised.

A new heart also will I give you, and a new spirit will I put within you and I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you an heart of flesh.-Ezek. xxxvi. 26.

Resurrection of the faithful.

I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them which are asleep, that ye sorrow not, even as others which have no hope.

For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him.-1 Thess. iv. 13, 14.

Righteous (od will bless the).

Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful.

And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper.-Psalm i. 1, 3.

Thou, Lord, wilt bless the righteous; with favour wilt thou compass him as with a shield. - Psalm v. 12.

The Lord knoweth the days of the upright: and their inheritance shall be for ever.

They shall not be ashamed in the evil time: and in the days of famine they shall be satisfied.—Psalm xxxvii. 18, 19.
