[This MS. originally belonged to the Grey Friars of York, and had an inscription at the head of the first leaf. The fly-leaves are filled with matter in English and Latin in later hands. The MS. was afterwards in the possession of Ralph Thoresby, and later in that of John Ruskin and George Dunn, of Maidenhead, at whose sale it was sold in 1913 for £68.
