For behold thou hast loved truth & and hast discovered to me the dark and hidden things of thy wisdom.

Thou wilt spriukle me with hyssop, and I shall be cleansed; thou wilt wash me, and I shall be made whiter than

snow.

Thou wilt give joy and gladness to my hearing; and the bones which are: humbled shall rejoice.

Turn away thy face from my sins and blot out all my iniquities.

Create a clean heart in me, O God; and renew an upright spirit within my bowels.

Cast me not away from thy face; nor withdraw thy holy spirit from me. Restore to me the joy of thy salvation; and strengthen me with a sovereign spirit.

I will teach thy ways to the unjust ; and the impious shall be converted to thee.

Deliver me from blood, O God, the God of my salvation; and my tongue shall extol thy justice.

O Lod thou wilt open my lips ; and! my mouth shall declare thy praise. For if thou hadst desired sacrifice, inNovi deed:

deed I should have given it; with holocausts thou wilt not be delighted.

to

An afflicted mind is a sacrifice God; a contrite and humble heart, O God, thou wilt not despise.

Le gracious, O Lord, in thy good will to Sion, that the walls of Jerusa lem may be built up.

Then thou wilt accept the sacrifice of justice, obladons, and holocausts; then shall they lay calves upon thy altar.

V. Psalm ci.

Ord hear my prayer; and let my cry come to thee.

Turn not away thy face from me; in what day soever I am in affliction, incline thy ear to me.

In what day soever. I shall invoke thee, hear me speedily.

Because my days are vanished as smoke ; and my

bones are withered

like dry brush wood.

I am blasted like the grass,

and my

heart is dried; because I have forgot ten to eat my bread.

By

By the noise of my groaning, my bone has cleaved to my flesh.

I am become like a pelican of the desert; I am become as a night crow in the house.

I have watched, and become as a solitary sparrow upon a house top.

My enemies upbraided me all the day; and those who had praised me, swore against me.

For I did eat ashes as bread, and mingled my drink with tears.

By reason of thy wrath and indignation, for having elevated me, thou has dashed me on the ground.

My days have passed away like a shadow, and I am withered as grass.

But thou, O Lord, remainest for ever; and the memory of thee shall be from generation to generation.

Thou wilt arise and take pity on Sion; because it is the time to take pity on it, for the time is come. Because the stones of it have pleased thy servants; and they will take pity on the ground of it.

And the nations shall fear thy name O Lord; and all the kings of the earth thy glory. we al

For

For the Lord has built Sion; and he shall be seen in his glory.

He has had regard to the petition of the humble, and has not despised their prayer.

Let these things be written in another generation; and the people that shall be created shall praise the Lord,

Because the Lord has looked down. from his high sanctuary ; the Lord from heaven has viewed the earth.

That he might hear the groans of the fettered; that he might release the children of the slain.

That they may declare the name of the Lord in Sion; and his praise în Jerusale.n.

He answered him in the course of his strength; shew me the fewness of my days.

Call me not back in the midst of my days; thy years are from generation to generation.

In the beginning, O Lord, thou didst lay the foundation of the earth; and the heavens are the work of thy hands

They shall perish, but thou remainest; and all things shall grow old like a garment.

And thou wilt change them as a covering, and they shall be changed; but thou art the very same, and thy years shall not fail.

And the children of thy servants shal inhabit; and their offspring shall be. directed for ever.

VI. Psalm cxxix.

e..

Have cried to thee, O Lord, from the depths: 0 Lord hear my voice.. Let thy ears be attentive to the voice of my petition.

If thou, O Lord shalt observe our iniquities; O Lord, who shall bear it ? Because there is propitiation with thee; and for the sake of thy law I have expected thee, O Lord.

My soul has expected in his word; my soul has hoped in the Lord.

From the morning watch until night: let Israel hope in the Lord.

Because there is mercy with the Lord and plenteous redemption with him.
