It is interspersed with translations of Petrarch's Sonnets and other pieces, and has appended to it an original poem by Tofte, entitled, "The Frvits of Jealousic, or a Love (but not loving) Letter." This poem is in 66 twelve-line stanzas, the concluding one being subscribed "R. M." for Markham, under whose name Tofte's translation of Ariosto's Satires appeared.
