And, on the contrary, he who lives and dies impenitent, (and every one who this day refuses to return to God, is in danger of an impenitent death,) and destitute of a saving interest by faith in the blood of the atonement, shall by the same trump be waked to experience in the language of Jesus Christ himself, "the resurrection of damnation." "Can these bones live?" God has settled it, and earth and hell have no power to disannul his determinations. God has settled it, that they can and that they shall live, in heaven or in hell; and in your choice, sinners, he has put the dccision. Life or death is set before you. To shrink from the choice is beyond your power. Make it you must; and make it you do, for every man to whom the message of the gospel is delivered, does, as a point of fact, receive or reject it on the spot. Every man who lives out this

day an unconverted man, does for this day reject the gospel, and "crucify afresh the Lord of glory." Every man who lives out this day an unconverted man, does for this day do "despite to the spirit of grace;" and so generally goes on the series, till death closes up every opportunity, and leaves for this day's rejecter of the gospel, and this day's despiser of the movings of the Spirit, nothing but the issue of a deep and settled, and eternal remorse, for a soul ruined, wilfully ruined-lost, without necessity, and lost for ever!
