HE ESSAY ON REDEMPTION, tho' written many years before, was first printed in the year 1741; and therefore could not have a place in the Author's Collection of his Moral and Theological Tracts*. On this account it may appear perhaps not improper to offer it a fecond time to the public. The difficulty, as well as importance, of the fubject will - ferve to excufe, if not to justify, the Editor.
