What if you were a young sailor on the German battleship, Bismarck, in 1941?  The ship sinks and you die. But several months later, you awaken in the womb of a young colored American woman as her soon-to-be-born son!

This is the premise for the novel, Oscar Turnipseed.  Filled with action and adventure, as well as drama and comedy, this is a coming of age tale with unforgettable characters and an intricately woven storyline that is quite unlike any other work ever written.
