CLASS I.

SUBSCRIBERS paying 87. 8s. the Year, 51. 5s. the Half Year, or 31. 3s. per Quarter, are allowed 15 Volumes in Town, or 30 in the Country, and are entitled to the immediate perusal of every New Popular Work, (the Proprietor engaging to provide an extra quantity of Books, in order to insure the strict fulfilment of this stipulation).

CLASS II.

Subscribers paying 51. 5s. the Year, 31. 3s. the Half Year, or 17. 16s. per Quarter, are allowed 10 Volumes in Town and 20 in the Country, and are entitled to the New Publications of all sizes.

CLASS III.

Subscribers paying 47. 4s. the Year, 2l. 12s. 6d. the Half Year, or 17. 11s. 6d. per Quarter, are entitled to 8 Volumes in Town and 16 in the Country, including the New Publications in the Octavo and Duodecimo Sizes.

CLASS IV.

Subscribers paying 31. 3s. the Year, 21. 2s. the Half Year, or 17. 5s. per Quarter, are allowed 6 Volumes in Town and 12 in the Country, but are not entitled to the perusal of New Works until the other Classes have read them.

Each Quarto Volume to be reckoned as Two.

Books sent to Subscribers to all parts of the United Kingdom, or the Continent, and in any quantity, by paying a proportionate Subscription.

Subscribers have the liberty of choosing any Books from the Library, as described in the Catalogue, but are not allowed to retain in their possession more than two of the Newest Works at one time, or to have a greater number of Books than their Subscription may entitle them to.

CONDITIONS AND REGULATIONS,

TO WHICH ALL SUBSCRIBERS ARE BOUND TO ACCEDE.

1. THE SUBSCRIPTION, &c. TO BE PAID AT THE TIME OF SUBSCRIBING, and at the commencement of every subsequent Term,

2. The expence of the Box and Catalogue, Carriage to and from the Library, Postage, &c. to be defrayed by the Subscriber.

3. If a Subscriber (through any Cause whatever) should detain a Book or Books beyond the Time subscribed for, the Subscription will continue open, and must be paid till such Books are returned.

4. Subscribers are not permitted to lend Books to Non-Subscribers; neither is it allowable to transfer Books from one Subscriber to another.

5. If a Book be written in, torn, or damaged, whilst in the possession of a Subscriber, that Book, or the Set (if part of one) to be paid for.

6. New Books are not allowed to be kept longer than One Week by Subscribers in Town, or a Fortnight if in the Country; but it is most earnestly requested, that they may in all cases be returned as soon as read, for the general Accommodation.

To prevent disappointment, Subscribers are particularly requested to send a List of 10 or 20 Nos. from the Catalogue; and when residing in the Country, to write by Post, on sending off their Boxes, specifying the Books they wish in return. J. ANDREWS most respectfully assures those Ladies and Gentlemen who may honor him with their Names, as Subscribers, that the utmost attention shall be paid to their wishes; and he trusts that by the arrangements he has adopted for an immediate and abundant supply of all New and Interesting Works, British and Foreign, that he shall afford them more than ordinary satisfaction.

It is most earnestly desired, that all New

Publications may be returned as soon as possible..

Subscribers complying with this Request, will have the first reading of the New Works.
