Benedicite, omnia Opera.

ALL ye Works of the Lord, bless ye the Lord, praise Him, and magnify Him for ever.

O ye Angels of the Lord, bless ye the Lord, praise Him, and magnify Him for ever.

O ye Children of men, bless ye the Lord, praise Him, and magnify Him for ever.

O let Israel bless the Lord, praise Him, and magnify Him for ever.

O ye Servants of the Lord, bless ye the Lord, praise Him, and magnify Him for ever.

O ye Spirits and Souls of the Righteous, bless ye the Lord, praise Him, and magnify Him for ever. O ye holy and humble men of heart, bless ye the Lord, praise Him, and magnify Him for ever.

O Ananias, Azarias, and Misael, bless ye the Lord, praise Him, and magnify Him for ever.

Glory be to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Ghost;

As it was in the beginning, is now, and ever shall be, world without end. Amen.

PSALM CL. Laudate Dominum.

O PRAISE God in His holiness: praise Him in the firmament of His power.

2 Praise Him in His noble acts according to His excellent greatness.

praise Him

3 Praise Him in the sound of the trumpet: praise Him upon the lute and harp.

4 Praise Him in the cymbals and dances: praise Him upon the strings and pipe.

5 Praise Him upon the well-tuned cymbals : praise Him upon the loud cymbals.

6 Let every thing that hath breath: praise the Lord.

Glory be to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Ghost;

As it was in the beginning, is now, and ever shall be, world without end. Amen.

The Song of Symeon. Nunc Dimittis. LORD, now lettest Thou Thy servant depart in peace, according to Thy word :

For mine eyes have seen Thy Salvation,

Which Thou hast prepared, before the face of all people;

To be a light to lighten the Gentiles, and to be the glory of Thy people Israel.

Glory be to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Ghost;

As it was in the beginning, is now, and ever shall be, world without end. Amen.

Lord, have mercy upon us.
Christ, have mercy upon us.
Lord, have mercy upon us.

OUR Father, which art in Heaven, Hallowed be

Thy Name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, As it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our trespasses, As we forgive them that trespass against us. And lead us not into temptation; But deliver us from evil. Amen.

O GOD, Who didst to the Three Children soothe the flames of fire, mercifully grant, that the flames of sin may not kindle upon us Thy servants. Amen.

PREVENT us, O Lord, in all our doings, with

Thy most gracious favour, and further us with Thy continual help; that in all our works, begun, continued, and ended in Thee, we may glorify Thy holy Name, and finally, by Thy mercy, obtain everlasting life through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen. GRANT, O Lord, that as I have now been admitted

to see Thee by faith under the Form of Bread and Wine; so, when Thou shalt come again in Judgment, I may be found worthy, in sure trust and joy, to behold Thee in Thy glorious Majesty, and may enjoy Thee for ever, in Thy eternal Kingdom, where, with the Father and the Holy Spirit, Thou livest and reignest, God, for ever and ever.

O MOST Merciful Lord, Who hast not disdained

to receive us, miserable sinners, even at this solemn hour, into Thy Presence, to glorify and praise Thee; forgive me all the failings which have come upon me in this very time of prayer, in that other thoughts have taken hold of my mind, or have carried it away in vain desires. Oh, let not mine enemy boast himself against me, that I have not taken heed of sin, even in this very time of praise, confession, and Holy Communion. Amen.

ESUS, Gentlest Saviour,
God of Might and Power,
Thou Thyself art dwelling
In us at this hour.

Nature cannot hold Thee,
Heaven is all too strait
For thine endless glory,
And Thy royal state.

Out beyond the shining
Of the farthest star,
Thou art ever stretching
Infinitely far.

Yet the hearts of children

Hold what worlds can not, And the God of Wonders Loves the lowly spot.

As men to their gardens

Go to seek sweet flowers,
In our hearts dear Jesus
Seeks them at all hours.

Jesus, Gentlest Saviour,
Thou art in us now;
Fill us full of Goodness,

Till our hearts o'erflow.

Pray the prayer within us

That to Heaven shall rise;

Sing the song that Angels
Sing above the skies.

Multiply our graces,
Chiefly love and fear,
And, dear Lord, the chiefest

Grace to persevere.

Oh, how can we thank Thee

For a Gift like this,

Gift that truly telleth

Heaven's eternal bliss?

Ah, when wilt Thou always
Make our hearts Thy home?
We must wait for Heaven,
Then the day will come.

Now at least we'll keep Thee
All the time we may;
But Thy grace and blessing
We will keep alway.

I pray

[ RENDER Thee thanks, O Lord, Holy Father, Almighty, Everlasting God, Who hast vouchsafed, not for any desert of mine, but only of the condescension of Thy mercy, to feed me, a sinner, Thy unworthy servant, with the precious Body and Blood of Thy Son, our Lord Jesus Christ. Thee, that this Holy Communion may not bring guilt upon me to condemnation, but may intercede for me to my pardon and salvation; let it be to me an Armour of faith, and a Shield of good purpose; a Riddance of all vices; an Extermination of evil desires and longings; an Increase of love and patience, of humility and obedience, and of all virtues; a firm Defence against the wiles of my enemies, visible or invisible; a perfect Quieting of all my impulses, fleshly and spiritual; a firm Adherence to Thee, the One True God; and a blessed Consummation of my end. And I pray Thee, that Thou wouldest vouchsafe to bring me, a sinner, to that ineffable Feast, where Thou with Thy Son, and the Holy Spirit, art, to Thy holy ones, true Light, full Satiety, everlasting Joy, Pleasure consummated,
