us so to reverence the sacred Mysteries of Thy Body and Blood, that we may ever find within our souls the fruit of Thy Redemption, Who livest and reignest with the Father and the Holy Ghost, one God, world without end. Amen.

Lord, come to us, that Thou mayest cleanse us. Lord, come to us, that Thou mayest heal us. Lord, come to us, that Thou mayest strengthen us. And grant that, having received Thee, we may never be separated from Thee by our sins, but may continue Thine for ever, till we see Thee face to Face in Thy heavenly Kingdom, where with the Father and the Holy Ghost Thou livest and reignest, ever one God, world without end. Amen.

Blessed Jesus, Who art about to come to us Thy unworthy servants in the Blessed Sacrament of Thy Body and Blood, prepare our hearts, we beseech Thee, for Thyself. Grant us that repentance for our past sins, that faith in the Atonement made for them by Thee upon the Cross, that full purpose of amendment of life, that perfect love to Thee and all men, which shall fit us to receive Thee. Lord, we are not worthy that Thou shouldst come under our roof, much less that we should receive Thee into ourselves; but since Thou didst not disdain to be laid in a manger amidst unclean beasts, so vouchsafe to enter into our souls and bodies, unclean though they be through many sins and defilements.

Bless, O Lord, Thy Priest, who is now about to offer before Thee this holy Sacrifice, as a memorial of the One Sacrifice of Thy Dear Son upon the Cross. I desire to join in offering It

1. As an act of homage and worship.

2. In remembrance of His Death and Passion.

3. In thanksgiving for all Thy blessings to Thy whole Church, and especially for those given to me a sinner.

4. In prayer for the pardon of all my sins, and of those of others.

5. To obtain grace and blessing for myself, and for all who are near and dear to me, and for Thy whole Church. Hear us, O Lord, and accept and bless this our service for His sake, Whose Death we are now about to commemorate, Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

Take from us our iniquities, we beseech Thee, O God, and fill us with Thy grace, that we, who are now together in Thy House, may with pure hearts and minds offer before Thee sincere and reverent worship, and worthily receiving Thy sacred Mysteries, may love Thee with an everlasting love, through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

If you have time, add some of these short Aspirations

I believe in Thee with a lively faith, O Eternal Truth! because Thou art Thyself God and Man, my Lord and Saviour.

I hope in Thee, O Lord, O only Hope, and true Salvation of my soul!

I love Thee, O my Sovereign Lord! oh! that I may love Thee above all things with my whole heart! Oh! may the burning power of Thy love absorb me, that nothing may ever separate me from Thee, my Saviour. Whom have I in Heaven but Thee? and there is none upon earth that I desire in comparison of Thee.

Like as the hart desireth the water brooks, so longeth my soul after Thee, O God!

What is man, that Thou art mindful of him; or the son of man, that Thou visitest him?

Whence is this to me, that my Lord cometh unto me?

O Jesu, Bread of Life, lo, my soul waiteth for Thee, send me not away fasting, lest I faint by the way.

O Jesu, Fountain of Life, my soul thirsteth after Thee; O let me draw water with joy out of the wells of salvation.

O Jesu, Beloved, fairer than the sons of men, draw me after Thee with the cords of Thy love.

O Jesu, jealous for souls, Whose delight is to be with the sons of men, may I love Thee, and live in and for Thee.

O Saviour of the World, Who by Thy Cross and Passion hast redeemed us, hear us and save us, we humbly beseech Thee. Amen.
