GLO

Then shall be said or sung,

LORY be to God on high, and in earth peace, good will towards men. We praise thee, we bless thee, we worship thee, we glorify thee, we give thanks to thee for thy great glory, O Lord God, heavenly King, God the Father Almighty.

O Lord, the only-begotten Son Jesu Christ; O Lord God, Lamb of God, Son of the Father, that takest away the sins of the world, have mercy upon us. Thou that takest away the sins of the world, have mercy upon us. Thou that takest away the sins of the world, receive our prayer. Thou that sittest at the right hand of God the Father, have mercy upon us.

For thou only art holy; thou only art the Lord; thou only, O Christ, with the Holy Ghost, art most high in the glory of God the Father. Amen.

¶ Then the Priest (or Bishop if he be present) shall let them depart with this Blessing.

HE peace of God, which passeth all understanding, keep your hearts and minds in the knowledge and love of God, and of his Son Jesus Christ our Lord: and the blessing of God Almighty, the Father, the Son, and the Holy Ghost, be amongst you and remain with you always. Amen.

After the Blessing.

YRANT, O Lord, that what I have taken

outwardly with my mouth, I may with a pure heart inwardly receive; and that this temporal gift may become to me an eternal remedy.

May Thy precious Body and Blood, which I have received, cleave unto my soul; and grant no stain of sin may remain in me, who have been refreshed with this most pure and holy Sacrament. Amen.

0

GOD, who in this wonderful Sacrament

hast left us a memorial of Thy Passion; grant us, we beseech Thee, so to venerate the sacred mysteries of Thy Body and Blood, that we may ever perceive within ourselves the fruit of Thy redemption, who livest and reignest with the Father and the Holy Ghost, ever one God, world without end. Amen.

YRANT, O Lord, that as I have now been

admitted to see Thee by faith under the outward veils of Bread and Wine; so, when Thou shalt come again in Judgment, I may be found worthy, in sure trust and joy, to

behold Thee in Thy glorious Majesty, and may enjoy Thee for ever, in Thy eternal Kingdom, where, with the Father and the Holy Spirit, Thou livest and reignest, God, for ever and ever. Amen.

MOST merciful Lord, who hast not disdained to receive us, miserable sinners, even at this solemn hour, into Thy Presence, to glorify and praise Thee; forgive me all the failings which have come upon me in this very time of prayer, in that other thoughts have taken hold of my mind, or have carried it away in vain desires. Oh, let not mine enemy boast himself against me, that I have not taken heed of sin, even in this very time of praise, confession, and Holy Communion. Amen.

E have now, O Christ our God, finished

and perfected according to our ability the mystery of Thy dispensation; for we have. celebrated the memorial of Thy Death, we have seen the Type of Thy Resurrection, we have been filled with Thine endless Life, we have enjoyed Thy never failing dainties, whereof vouchsafe to make us all partakers in the world to come. Amen.

THE

HE good Lord pardon every one that prepareth his heart to seek the Lord God of his fathers, though he be not cleansed according to the purification of the sanctuary. Amen.

To Thee, O King Eternal, the Immortal, Invisible, and only Wise God, be all honour and glory, now and for evermore. Amen.

The Communion of the Sick.

A

The Collect.

LMIGHTY, Everlasting God, Maker of mankind, Who dost correct those whom Thou dost love, and chastise every one whom Thou dost receive; We beseech Thee to have mercy upon this Thy servant visited with Thine hand, and to grant that he may take his sickness patiently, and recover his bodily health, if it be Thy gracious Will; and whensoever his soul shall depart from the body, it may be without spot presented unto Thee; through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

The Epistle. Heb. xii. 5.

Y son, despise not thou the chastening of the Lord, nor faint when thou art rebuked of Him. For whom the Lord loveth He chasteneth; and scourgeth every son whom He receiveth.

The Gospel. St. John v. 24.

ERILY, verily I say unto you-He that heareth My Word, and believeth on Him that sent Me, hath Everlasting Life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto Life.
