A rare and important Tract of 72 pages, including 12 pages (either cancelled or subsequently added) containing an account of the Baptist Churches in England, Wales, and Ireland, and other matter, and which have been wanting in the few copies that have occurred for sale or are known to exist. The author, a Swede states, that, "to obtain the necessary information I have travelled about 700 miles in eighteen months, chiefly on foot, have visited about 215 Churches and 15 Associations, and am personally acquainted with 250 ministers." He gives particulars of about 900 churches, having nearly 70,000 members, also the names of nearly 1,200 ministers. A copy of this Tract, without the six additional leaves, were sold for £2. 5s. at Sotheby's in May last.
