A ND the whole multitude of them arose, and led him unto Pilate. 2 And they began to accuse him, saying, We found this fellow perverting the nation, and forbidding to give tribute to Cæsar, say ing, that he himself is Christ a King. 3 And Pilate asked him, saying, Art thou the King of the Jews? இவன் கலிலேயா நாடடைத்தொ டங்கி இவ்விடம்வரைக்கும் இயூதே யாநாட்டிலெங்கும் உபதேசம்ப ணணிச் சனஙகளைக்கலகப்படுத்து கிறானென்று அதிக உக்கிரத்தோ டே சொன்னார்கள். சு கலிலேயாநாடென்பதைப்பி வாததுக்கேள்விப்பட்ட பொழுது இம்மனிதன் கலிலேயனாவென்று வி சாரித்தபின்பு, அ எ அவர் ஏரோதே இராசாவின் காரத்துக்குள்ளானவ ரென்ற றிந்து அந்நாள்களில் எருசலேமி லேவந்திருந்த ஏரோதினிடத்திற்கு அவரையனுப்பினான். அ ஏரோதென்பவன் இயேசுவை யங அப்பொழுது பிலாததென் பவன் பிரதான ஆசாரியரையுந்தலை வரையுஞ் சனங்களையுங் கூடிவரச செய்து அவர்களை நோக்கி, யச நீங்கள் இந்தமனிதன் சன ங்களைக் கலகப்படுத்துகிறவனென று சொல்லி இவனை என்னிட த்திற் கொண்டு வந்தீர்கள். அந்தப்படி நான் உங்களுக்கு முன்பாக இவனை சோதித்தபொழுது, நீங்கள் ன் மேற்சாற்றின் குற்றங்களி லொ ன்றையும் நான் இவனிடத்திலேகா ணவில்லை. வ ing glad: for he was desirous to see him of a long season because he had heard many things of him; and he hoped to have some miracle done by him. 9 Then he questioned with him in many words; but he answered him nothing. 10 And the chief priests and scribes stood and vehe mently accused him. 11 And Herod with his men of war set him at nought, and mocked him, and arrayed him in a gorgeous robe, and sent him again to Pilate. 12 And the same day Pilate and Herod were made friends together: for before they were at enmity between themselves. 13 And Pilate, when he had called together the chief priests and the rulers and the people, 14 Said unto them, Ye have brought this man unto me, as one that perverteththe people: and, behold, I, having examined him before you, have found no fault in this man touching those things whereof ye accuse him : 15 No, nor yet Herod: for I sent you to him; and, lo, nothing worthy of death is done unto him. னைத் தண்டித்து விடுதலையாக்குவே னென்றான். யஎ பண்டிசைதோறும் அவன அவர்களுக்காக ஒருவனை விடுதலை யாக்க வேண்டி யிருந்தபடியால், அப்படிச்சொன்னான். யஅ திரளான சனங்களெல்லாரு ம் அதைக க கட -டு, வனை ஆக்கினை க்குட்படுத்திப் பரபாவை யெங்க ளுக்காக விடுதலையாக்க வேண்டுமெ ன்று கூக்குரலிட்டார்கள். யகூ அந்தப் பரபா வென்பவன் நகரத்திலே நடந்த ஒருகலகத்துக் காகவுங் கொலைபாதகத்துக்காகவு ங்காவலில்வைக்கப்பட்டிருந்தான். உய அப்பொழுது பிலாத்தான் வன இயேசுவைவிடுதலையாக்க மன தாய் மறுபடியும் அவர்களுக்குச் சொன்னான. உக அதற்கவர்கள் இவனைச்சிலு வைமரத்தில் அறைய வேண்டும்,இ வனைச் சிலுவைமரத்தில் அறைய வே வண்டு மன்று கூக்குரலிட்டார் கள். சொ உஉ அவன் மூன்றாந்தரஞ் ன்னது; இவன் எந்தப்பொல்லாங் கைச் செய்தான். இவனிடத்திலே மரணத்துக்கேதுவான குற்றமொ ன்றையுங் காலே (C) மே. ஆகையால் நான் இவனைத் தண்டித்து விடுதலை பண்ணுவேனென்றான். உங அப்படியிருந்தும் அவரை ச்சிலுவை மரத்தில் அறையும்படி க்கு அவர்கள் மிகுந்த சத்தத்துட னே கேட்டுக்கொண்டார்கள். அவ ர்களும் பிரதான ஆசாரியருமிட்ட கூக்குரல் அதிகப்பட்டது. உசு அப்பொழுது பிலாததென பவன் அவர்களுடையமனுவின்படி யாகும்படிக்குத் தீர்மானமபண்ணி, உரு கலக தின் நிமித்தமுங்கொ லைபாதகத்தின் நிமித்தமுங் காவ லில் வைக்கப்பட்டிருந்தவனை அவ and murder was cast inte ர்களுடைய விண்ணப்பத்தின்படி prison, whom they had de அவர்களுக்காக விடுதலையாககி, sired; எருசலேமின் குமார த்திகளே, நீங்கள் எனக்காக அழா மல், உங்க களுக க்காகவும் உங்கள் பிள் ளைகளுக்காகவும் அழுதுகொள்ளு ஙகள். உகூ என்னத்தினாலெனில், மலடி களும் பிள்ளைபெறாதகருப்பங்களும் பால் கொடாத முலைகளும் பாக்கி யமுள்ளவைகளென்று சொல்லப்ப டும் நாள்கள் வரும். ஙய அப்பொழுது இவர்கன்மலை களைநோக்கி, எங்கள்மேல் விழுங்க ளன்றுங் குன்றுகளை நோக்கி, எங் களை மூடிக்கொள்ளுங்களென்றுஞ் சொல்லுவார்கள். நக பசுமையான மரத்துக்கிப்ப டிசெய்தால், பட்டுப்போன மரத துக்கு மிகவும் அதிகமாய் இப்படி ச்செய்யப்படுமல்லவாவென்றார். ஙஉ குற்றவாளிகளாகிய வேறிர ண்டுபேரும் அவரோடேகூட ணமடைவதற்குக் கொண்டுபோக ப்படடார்கள். மர ஙங தலையோட்டிட மென்னப்ப 26 And as they led him away, they laid hold upon one Simon, a Cyrenian, coming out of the country, and on him they laid the cross, that he might bare it after Jesus. 27 And there followed him a great company of people, and of women, which also bewailed and lamented him. 28 But Jesus turning unto them said, Daughters of Jerusalem, weep not for me, but weep foryourselves, and for your children. 29 For, behold, thedays are coming, in the which they shall say, Blessed are the barren, and the wombs that never bare, and the paps which never gave suck. 30 Then shall they begin to say to the mountains, Fall on us ; and to the hills, Cover us. 31 For if they do these things in a green tree, what shall be done in the dry? 32 And there were also two other, malefactors, led with him to be put to death. 33 And when they were come to the place, which is ட்ட இடத்திலே அவர்கள் சேர்ந் called Calvary, there they தபொழுது அங்கே யவரையும அ erucified him, and the male- வருடையவலதுபக்கத்திலேயொரு factors, one on the right hand, and the other on the left. 34 Then said Jesus, Father, forgive them ; for they know not what they do. And they parted his raiment, and cast lots. 35 And the people stood beholding. And the rulers also with them derided him, saying, He saved others; let him save himself, if he be Christ, the chosen of God. 36 And the soldiers also mocked him, coming to him, and offering him vinegar. 37 And saying, If thou be the king of the Jews, save thyself. 38 And a superscription also was written over him in letters of Greek, and Latin, and Hebrew, THIS IS THE KING OF THE JEWS. 39 And one of the malefactors which were hanged railed on him, saying, If thou be Christ, save thyself and us. 40 But the other an. swering rebuked him, say. ing, Dost not thou fear குற்றவாளியையும அவருடைய இ டதுபக்கத்திலே மற்றக்குற்றவாளி யையுஞ் சிலுவைமரங்களில் அறை ந்தார்கள். ஙச அப்பொழுது இயேசுவான வர் பிதாவே, இவர்கள் தங்கள செ ய்கையின் தன்மையை யறியாதிரு ககிறார்கள். ஆதலால் இவர்களுக்கு மனனித்தருளுமென்றார். அவருடைய ய வஸ்திரங்களை யவர்கள் பங்கிட்டு, (அவைகளைக்குறித்து) சீட்டுப்போ ட்டார்கள். |
