சுகூ அக்கினியைப் பூமியினமேற் 49 I am come to send போடவந்தேன். அது இப்பொழு fire on the earth; and what தேபற்றியெரியும்படிக்கு விருமபு will I, if it be already kind

ருய அதற்குமுன்னே நான் அ 50 But I have a baptism டையவேண்டிய ஒருஸ்நானமுண்டு. to be baptized with; and வு ம how am I straitened till it அதுமுடியுமளவும் நான் நெருக்கப்படுகிறேன். be accomplished!

ருக நான் பூமிக்குச் சமாதானத்

51 Suppose ye that I am தைத்தரும்படிககேவந்தேனென்ற come to give peace on earth? நினைக்கிறீர்கள். அதையல்ல பிரிவி I tell you, Nay; but rather னையைத்தருமபடிக்குவந்தேனென் division : அங்களுக்குச் சொல்லுகிறேன்.

ருஉ எப்படியெனில், இதுமுதல் ரேகுடும்பத்திலே ஐந்துபேர்பிரி ந்திருப்பார்கள், மூன்றுபேர் இர ண்டுபேருக்கும் இரண்டுபேர் மூன் றுபேருக்கும் விரோதமாயிருப்பா ர்கள்.

ருங தகப்பன் மகனுக்கும் மகன் தகப்பனுக்குந் தாய் மகளுக்கும் ம கள் தாய்க்கும் மாமி தன் மருமகளு க்கும் மருமகள் தன் மாமிக்கும்வி ரோதமாகப்பிரிந்துபோவார்களெ

52 For from henceforth there shall be five in one house divided, three against two, and two against three.

53 The father shall be divided against the son, and the son against the father; the mother against the daughter, and the daughter against the mother; the mother in law against her daughter in law, and the daughter in law against her mother in law.

54 And he said also to the people, When ye see & cloud rise out of the west, straightway ye say, There cometh a shower; and so it is.

55 And when ye see the south wind blow, ye say There will be heat; and it cometh to pass.

56 Ye hypocrites, ye can discern the face of the sky and of the earth; but how is it that ye do not discern this time?

57 Yea, and why even

59 I tell thee, thou shalt not depart thence, till thou hast paid the very last mite.

ருகூ நீ ஒரு காசாகிலுங்குறையா மற் செலுத்துகிறவரைக்கும் அவ் விடத்திலிருந்து விடுதலையாக்கப்ப டமாட்டாயென்று உனக்குச்சொ ல்லுகிறேனென்றார்.

CHAPTER XIII.

HERE were present at that season some that told him of the Galileans, whose blood Pilate had mingled with their sacrifi

ces.

2 And Jesus answering said unto them, Suppose ye that these Galileans were sinners above all the Gali leans, because they suffered such things?

3 I tell you, Nay: but, except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish.

4 Or those eighteen upon whom the towerin Siloam fell, and slew them, think ye that they were sinners above all men that dwelt in Jerusalem?

உ

லாததெனபவன் சிலகலிலே யருடைய இரத்தத்தை அவர்களு டையபலிகளுடனே கலந்திருந்தா ன். அந்தக் கலிலேயரைக் குறித்து அவ்வேளையிலே அங்கே யிருக்கிற சிலர் அவருடனே பேசிக்கொண் டார்கள்.

அவர்களுக்குப் பிரதியுத்தர மாக இயேசுவானவர் சொன்னதா வது; அந்தக்கலிலேயர் அப்படி ப்படடவைகளை யனுபவித்ததினா லே மற்றெல்லாக் கலிலேயரிலும் (அதிக) பாவிகளா யிருந்தார்களெ ன்றா நினைக்கிறீர்கள்.

ங அப்படியில்லை யென்றுங்களு ககுச்சொல்லுகிறேன். நீங்கள் மன ந்திருப்பா விட்டால், எல்லாரும் அப்படிக்கெட்டுப்போவீர்கள்.

ச அல்லாமலுஞ்சீலோவாமிலே கோபுரம் விழுந்து பதினெட்டுப் பேரைக்கொன்றதே. எருசலேமில் குடியிருக்கிற மனிதரெல்லாரிலும் அந்தப்பதினெட டுப்பேரும் அதிக குற்றவாளிகளாயிருந்தார்களென்றா

நினைக்கிறீர்கள்.

5 I tell you, Nay: but, ரு அப்படியில்லையென்றுங்களு

6 He spake also this parable; A certain man had a fig tree planted in his vineyard; and he came and sought fruit thereon, and found none.

7 Then said he to the dresser of his vineyard, Behold, these three years I come seeking fruit on this fig tree, and find none: cut it down; why cumbereth it the ground?

8 And he answering said unto him, Lord, let it alone this year also, till I shall dig about it, and dung it :

ப்போடு நிலத்தையும் து என்ன த்திற்குக்கெடுக்கிறதென்றான். அ அதற்கவன் சொன்னது; ஐ யா, நான இதைச் சுற்றிக்கொ த தி யெருப்போடுவேன். ஒருவேளை இது கனிகொடுக்கும். ஆகையால் இதுஇ ந்தவருஷம் வரைக்கு மிருக்கட்டும். கனிகொடாதிருந்தால், நீர் இனிமேல் இதை வெட்டிப் போட லாமென்று சொன்னானென்றார். ய ஒரோய்வுநாளில் அவர் ஒரு செப ஆலயததிற்போதகம்பண்ணி in one of the synagogues on க்கொண்டிருந்தபொழுது,

யக பதினெட்டுவருஷமாய்ப்பெ லஈனமாகச் செய்கிற ஆவியையு டைய ஒருஸ்திரி அங்கேயிருந்தா ள். அவள் எவ்வளவும் நிமிரக்கூ டாத கூனியாயிருந்தாள்.

9 And if it bear fruit, well: and if not, then after that thou shalt cut it down. 10 And he was teaching

the sabbath.

11 And, behold, there was a woman which had a spirit of infirmity eighteen years, and was bowed together, and could in no wise lift up herself.

12 And when Jesus saw her, he called her to him, and said unto her, Woman, thou art loosed from thine

யஉ இயேசுவானவர் அவளைக்க ண்டு தம்மிடத்தில் அழைத்துஸதி ரியே, உன்பெல் ஈனத்திலிருந்துவி டுதலையாக்கப்பட்டாயென்று ெ சா ல்லி, அவள் மேலே தமதுகைகளை infirmity. வைத்தார்.

உடனேயவள் நிமிர்ந்துபரா பரனைத்துதிசெய்தாள்.

13 And he laid his bands on her: and immediately she was made straight, and glorified God.

17 And when he had said these things, all his adversa ries were ashamed: and all the people rejoiced for all the glorious things that were done by him.

14 And the ruler of the

synagogue answered with indignation, because that Jesus had healed on the sabbath day, and said unto the people, There are six days in which men ought to work : in them therefore come and be healed, and not on the sabbath day.

15 The Lord then anயரு அவ க்கு மாறுத்தரமாக swered him, and said, Thou க்கர்த்தர்சொன்னது, வஞ்சகனே, hypocrite, doth not each one உங்களிலெவனானாலுந்தன எருதை of you on the sabbath loose அல்லது தனகழுதையை ஓய்வுநா his ox or his ass from the ளிலேதொழுவிலிருந்து அவிழ்த்து stall, and lead him away to ககொண்டுபோய் அதற்குத் தண் watering? ணீர்காட்டுகிறதில்லையா.

16 And ought not this woman, beinga daughter of Abraham, whom Satan hath bound, lo, these eighteen years, be loosed from this bond on the sabbath day?

யகா (அதுபோல) ஆபிரகாமின் சந்ததியிற், பதினெட்டுவருஷஞ்சா தானாலே கட்டப்பட்டிருக்கிற இவளை ஒய்வுநாளிலே அந்தச்சங் கிலியிலிருந்து அவிழ்த்துவிடவேண டியதில்லையாவென்றார்.

18 Then said he, Unto what is the kingdom of God like? and whereunto

shall I resemble it?

19 It is like a grain of mustard seed, which a man took, and cast into his garden; andit grew, and wax ed a great tree; and the fowls of the air lodged in the branches of it.

20 And again be said, Whereunto shall I liken the kingdom of God?

யச இயேசுவானவர் ஒய்வு நாளி லே குணமாக்கினதைச்செப ஆல் யத்தலைவன் கண்டு விதனம் அடை நது சனங்களைநோக்கி, வேலைசெய் யும்படிக்கான ஆறுநாளுண்டு. அ வைகளிலே நீங்கள் வந்துகுணமாக கிககொள்ளுங்கள். ஒய்வுநாளிலே அப்படிச்செய்யக்கூடா

யஎ அப்படியவர்சொன்னபொ முது அவரை விரோதித்திருந்த அ னைவருமவெட்கப்பட்டார்கள். அ

ல்லாமலுஞ் சனங்களயாவரும் அ வர்செய்தமகிமையான செய்கைக ளைக்குறித்துச் சந்தோஷப்பட்டா ர்கள்

யஅ பினபு அவர்சொன்னது, ப ராபரனுடைய ராச்சியம் எ கொப்பாயிருக்கின்றது. அதை எத் றகு நிகர்சொல்லுவேன்.

யகூ அது ஒருகடுகுவிதைக்கொ ப்பாயிருக்கின்றது. (எப்படியெனி ல்) ஒருகடுகை ஒருமனிதன் எடுத்து த்தனதோட்டத்திற் போட்டான். அதுவளர்ந்து பெரியசெடியாயிற் று. அப்பொழுது ஆகாசத்துப்ப றவைகள் அதின ளைகளிற் கூடுகட் டினவெனறார்.

உய அன்றியும் அவர் சொன்ன து, பராபரனுடைய இராசசியத் தை எதற்கு நிகர்சொல்லுவேன.

உக அது புளிப்புள்ள மாவுக்கு ஒப்பாயிருக்கின்றது. எப்படியெ னில் அதையொரு ஸ்திரி எடுத்து மூன்றுமரக்கால் மாமுழுவதும் பு ளிப்படையத்தக்கதாக அதிலேய டைத்துவைத்தாளென்றார்.

21 Itis like leaven, which a woman took and hid in three measures of meal, till the whole was leavened.

the cities and villages, teach ing, and journeying toward Jerusalem.

உஉ அன்றியும் அவர் எருசலே 22 And he went through முக்குப் பிரயாணமாய்ப் போகிற பொழுது பட்டினங்கள் தோறுங கிராமங்கள் தோறும் போய் உப தேசமபண்ணினார்.

உங அப்பொழுது ஒருவன் அவ ரைநோக்கி, ஆண்டவரே, சிலபேர் மாத்திரந்தான் இரட்சிக்கப்படுவா ர்களோ வென்றான.

23 Then said one unto him, Lord, are there few that be saved ? And he said unto them,

24 Strive to enter in at the strait gate : for many I say unto you, will seek to enter in, and shall not be

உச அதற்கு அவர்சொன்னது; இடுக்கமான வாசலின் வழியாய்ச் (சீவனில்) பிரவேசிக்க மிகவும் பிர யாசப்படுங்கள். என்னத்தினாலே னில், அநேகர் உட்பிரவேசிக்கத் able. தேடினாலும் பிரவேசிக்க மாட்டா ர்களென்றுங்களுக்குச் சொல்லுகி

றேன்.

உரு வீடடெசமான் எழுந்திரு ந்து கதவைப்பூட்டின் பின்பு, நீங் கள் வெளியேறினறு கதவிலே தட டி, ஆண்டவரே, ஆண்டவரே, ங்களுக்குத்திறக்க வேண்டுமென்று கூபபிடத் தொடங்குங் காலத்தி லே அவர் நான உங்களை ய றியே னென்றும் நீங்கள் விட்டுவந்த இட த்தை யறியமாட்டேனென்றும் உ ங்களுட னே சொல்லும் பொரு ழுது, உக நீங்கள் உமக்குமுன்பாகப் போசன பானம் பண்ணினோமே. நீர் எங்கள் வீதிகளிலே போதகம் பண்ணினீரே யென்று சொல்லுவீ ர்கள்.

25 When once the master of the house is risen up, and hath shut to the door, and ye begin to stand without, and to knock at the door, saying, Lord, Lord, open unto us ; and he shall answer and say unto you, I know you not whence ye are:

26 Then shall ye begin to say, We have eaten and drunken in thy presence, and thou hast taught in our

streets.

உஎ ஆனாலும் அவர்சொல்வது, 27 Buthe shall say, I tell உங்களையறியேன, நீங்கள் விட்டு you, I know younot whence வந்த இடத்தையறியேன. அக்கிர ye are; depart from me, all மக்காரராகிய நீங்களெல்லாரும் ye workers of iniquity. என்னை விட்டுப் போங்களென்று சொல்வாரென்று உங்க ககு சொல்லுகிறேன்.
