ல்லாதபடியால், நீர்பாக்கியராயி compense thee: for thou
ருப்பீர். நீதிமானகள் உயிரோடே shalt be recompensed at the
ழுந்திருக்குங்காலத்திலே உமக்கு resurrection of the just.
ப்பதில் அளிக்கப்படுமென்றார்.
யரு அவரோடேகூடப் பந்தியி
ருந்தவர்களிலொருவன் இந்தவசன
ங்களைக்கேட்டபொழுது, அவன்அ
வரைநோக்கிப்பராபரனுடைய

ராச்சியத்திற் போசனமபணணு
றவன் பாக்கியவானென்றான்.
யகா அதற்கவர்சொன்னது, ஒரு
மனிதனபெரியவிருந்துபண்ணி,

யஎ அநேகரையழைத்து, விரு ந்து வேளையிலே தன் ஊழியக்கார னை நோக்கி, நீ அழைக்கப்பட்டவ ர்களிடத்துக்குப்போய்ச் சகலமும் எத்தனமாயிற்று. ஆகையால் வா ங்களென்று சொல்லென்று அனு ப்பினான்.

15 And when one of them that sat at meat with him heard these things, he said unto him, Blessed is he that shall eat bread in the kingdom of God.

16 Then said he unto him, A certain man made a great supper, and bade many :

17 And sent his servantat supper time to say to them that were bidden, Come ; for all things are now ready.

யஅ அப்பொழுது அவர்களெ 18 And they all with one ல்லாரும்போக்குச்சொல்லத்தொ consent began to make exடங்கினார்கள். ஒருவன் சொன்னது, cuse. யாகூ வேறொருவனசொன்னது,ஐ ந்தேர்மாடு கொண்டேன். அவைக் have bought five yoke of நைானபோய்ச்சோதிக்கவேண்டும் oxen, and I go to prove ஆகையால் எனக்கு மன்னிக்கும்படி க்கு உன்னை வேண்டிக்கொள்ளுகி excused. றேனென்றான்.

வேெ றாருவன சொனனது, பெண்ணைவிவாகம்பண்ணினேன. அ have married a wife, and

therefore I cannot come.

21 So that servant came and shewed his Lord these things. Then the master of

தினாலே நானவரக்கூடாதென்றான். உக பின்பு அந்த ஊழியக்காரன வந்து அவைகளைத்தன் எசமானுக் கு அறிவித்தான். அப்பொழுதுi டெசமான கோபம அடைந்து, the house being angry said தன்ஊழிக்காரனைநோக்கி, நீசீக்கி to his servant, Go out quickரமாய்ப் பட்டினத்தின் தெருக்களி ly into the streets and lanes லும் வீதிகளிலுமபோய், தரித்திர of the city, and bring in

hither the poor, and the maimed and the halt, and the blind.

22 And the servant said, Lord, it is done as thou hast commanded, and yet there

is room.

23 And the Lord said unto the servant, Go out

ரையும் ஊனரையுஞ் சபபாணிகளை யுங் குருடரையும் இங்கே அழைத் கொண்டுவாவென்றான்.

உஉ அந்தப்படி ஊழியக்காரன் அழைத்துவந்து, ஆண்டவரே நீர் கட்டளையிட்டபடி செய்தாயிற்று

உங பின்னு மிடமுண்டென்றான். அப்பொழுது எசமான ஊழியக

27 And whosoever doth not bear his cross, and come after me, cannot be my disciple.

ளிலும் வேலிகளருகேயும் புறப்பட டுப்போய், என்வீடுநிறைய வரும்ப டிக்குச் சனங்களை வருந்திக் கூட்டிக் கொண்டுவா.

உசு அழைக்கப்பட்டிருந்த அந் தமனிதரிலொருவராகிலும் என்னு டைய விருந்தை ருசிபார்ப்பதில் லையென்று உங்களுக்குச்சொல்லுகி றேனென்று சொன்னார்.

உரு பின்பு அநேகசனங்கள் அவ ரோடேகூடப் பிரயாணமாய்ப் போகையில், அவர் திரும்பிப்பார்த் து, அவர்களுடனே சொன்னதா

வது,

உசா ஒருவனஎன்னிடத்தில்வந்து ந்தன் தகப்பனையுந்தாயையும் மனை வியையும் பிள்ளைகளையுஞ் சகோதர ரையுஞ் சகோதரிகளையுந் தனசுய சீவனையும் பகையாவிட்டால், என்

சீஷனாயிருக்கமாட்டான்.

உஎ அல்லாமலுந் தன் சிலுவை மரத்தைச் சுமந்து கொண்டு எனக குபபினசெல்லாதவன் என் சீஷனாயி ருக்கமாட்டான.

28 For which of you, in- உஅ உங்களிலெவனானாலும் ஒரு tending to build a tower, கோபுரத்தைக்கட்ட மனதாயிருந் sitteth not down frst, and தால தான அஸ்திபாரம்போட்ட counteth the cost, whether பின்பு, அதை முடியக்கட்டுகிறதற் ye have sufficient to finish குததிராணியில்லாமலிருக்கும்பொ

30 Saying, this man beது, அதைக்கட்டித்தீர்க்கிறதற்குத் gan to build, and was not திராணியுண்டாவில்லையா ெ வன்று able to finish. அறியும்படி செல்லுஞ் கணக்குப்பாராமலிருப்பானா

31 Or what king, going

ஙக அல்லது எந்த இராசாவா னாலும் மற்றொரு இராசனுடனே to make war against another யுத்தஞ்செய்யப்போகிறதற்குமுன king, sitteth not down first, பு, உளுக்காந்து தனக்கு விரோத and consulteth whether he மாய் இருபதினாயிரஞ் சேவகரைக் கொண்டுவருகிறவனோடே பதினாயி

be able with ten thousand to meet him that cometh a

ரஞ் சேவகரைககொண்டு எதிர்க்க gainst him with twenty thouக்கூடுமா கூடாதாவென்று ஆலோ sand? சனைபண்ணாமலிருப்பான.

கூஉ கூடாதென்று அறிந்தால், அவன் தூரத்திலிருக்கையில் தானா பதிகளையனுபபிச் சமாதானத்துக் காகக் கேட்டுக் கொள்ளும்படிககு, (அப்படிச்) செய்வானல்லவா.

ஙங அதுபோல், உங்களிலெவனா னாலுந் தனக்குண்டான எல்லாவற் றையும் வெறுத்துவிடாவிட்டால், என் சீஷனாயிருக்கமாட்டான்.

ங ச உப்பானது நல்லதுதான். உப்பானது சாரமற்றுப்போனால் எதினாலே அது சாரமாக்கப்படும்.

ஙரு அது நல்லநிலத்திலாகிலும் எருவிலாகிலும் போடப்படத் தக கதல்ல, அதைவெளியே கொட்டி பபோடுவார்கள். கேட்கிறதற்குக் காதுள்ளவன் கேட்கக்கடவனென றார்.

யரு. அதிகாரம். அன்றியுஞ சகல ஆயக்காரரு

ம் பாவிகளும் அவருடைய வசனங் களைக்கேட்கும் படிக்கு அவரிடத திற்சேர்ந்தார்கள்.

உ அப்பொழுது பரிசேயரும வேதபாரகரும் மொறுமொறுத்து இவர் பாவிகளையேற்றுக் கொணடு, அவர்களோடே சாப்பிடுகிறாரென றார்கள்.

32 Or else, while the other is yet a great way off, he sendeth an ambassage, and desireth conditions of peace.

33 So likewise, whoso ever he be of you that forsaketh not all that he hath, he cannot be my disciple.

34 Salt is good : but if the salt have lost his savour wherewith shall it be seasoned?

35 It is neither fit for the land, nor yet for the dunghill: but men cast it out. He that hath ears to hear, let him hear.

CHAPTER XV.

HEN drew near unto
THE

him all the publicans and sinners for to hear him.

2 And the pharisees and scribes murmured, saying, This man receiveth sinners, and eateth with them.

2, he layeth it on his shoul. தைசசந்தோஷமாய்த் தன்தோள் ders rejoicing,

றுங்களுக்குச் சொல்லுகிறேனென over one sinner that repent

யக பின்னும் அவர் சொன்னதா 11 And hesaid, A cerவது, ஒருமனிதனுக்கிரண்டுகுமார tain man had two sons : ரிருந்தார்கள்.

யஉ அவர்களிலிளையவன் தகப்ப னைநோக்கித் தகப்பனே ஆஸ்தியி ல் எனக்குவரும்பங்கைத் தரவேண் டுமென்றான அந்தப்படியவன ன அவர் களுக்குப் பொருளைப்பங் ட்டான.

12 And the younger of them said to his father, Father, give me the portion of goods that falleth to me.

And he divided unto them his living.

13 And not many days

யங சிலநாளுக்குப்பின்பு, இளைய மகன எல்லாவற்றையுஞ்சேர்த்துக after the younger son gaகொண்டு தூரதேசத்துக்குப் பிர யாணமாய்ப்போய், அங்கேகெட

thered all together, and took his journey into a far coun

டமார்க்கமாய்ச் சீவனம்பண்ணித try, and there wasted his தன ஆஸ்தியை யழித்துப்போட

டான.

யச எல்லாவற்றையும் அவன் செ லவழித்தபின்பு, அத்தேசத்திலேமி

குந்தபஞ்சகாலமுண்டாயிற்று. அ ப்பொழுது அவனுக்குக் குறைவுவ ரத்தொடங்கினபடியினாலே,

ரு அவன்போய், அந்தத்தேச த்துக்குடிகளில் ஒருவனைச் சேர்ந் காணடான. அந்தக் குடியா னவன் அவனைத் தன வயல்களிலே பன்றிகளை மேய்க்கும்படிக்கு அனு ப்பினான்.

யக அப்பொழுது பன்றிகள் தி ன்னுகிற தவிடுகளினாலே தன்வயிற றை நிரப்ப ஆசைப்பட்டான். அ வற்றையும் ஒருவனும் அவனுக்குக் காடுக்கவில்லை.

14 And when he had spent all, there arose a mighty famine in that land ; and he began to be in want.

15 And he went and

joined himself to a citizen of that country ; and he sent him into his fields to feed swine.

16 And he would fain have filled his belly with the husks that the swine did eat and no man gave unto him.

யஎ அப்படியிருக்குங் காலத்தி 17 And when he came to ல் அவன்புத்தியடைந்து சொன்ன himself, he said, How many தாவது, ஆ, எனதகப்பனிடத்திலே hired servants of my Fa எத்தனை கூலிக்காரர் மிகுந்த உண ther's have bread enough வையுடையவர்களாயிருக்கிறார்கள். and to spare, and I perish நான் இங்கே பசியினாலே கெட்டுப் with hunger ! போகிறேன்.

யஅ நான் எழுந்து, எனதகப்ப னிடத்துக்குப்போய்த் தகப்பனே, தேவனுக்கும் உமக்கும் விரோத மாய்ப் பாவஞ்செய்தேன்.
