WHEREAS the above bounden A. B. hath been recommended as a proper Perfon to be appointed Receiver General, and the Confent and Approbation of the Lords Commiffioners of His Majefty's Treasury hath been obtained for appointing the faid A. B. to be, and he is accordingly about to be appointed Receiver General of all and fingular the Rents, Iffues, Revenues and Profits of His Majefty's Honors, Caftles, Lordships, Manors, Lands, Tenements, Rents, Services and other Hereditaments and Poffeffions, fituate in the [bere infert the Counties, Diftrias, Divifions or Places intended to be comprised in the Appointment] together with all Arrears thereof, during His Majefty's Pleasure, or until the Lords Commiffioners of His Majefty's Treafury, or any Three of them, or the Commiffioners of His Majefty's Woods, Forefts and Land Revenues, or any Two of them, or the Surveyor General for the time being of His Majefty's Land Revenues, by any Inftrument or Document in Writing, fhall determine fuch Appointment: Now the Condition of the above written Obligation is fuch, That if the said A. B.

fhall and do from time to time, and at all times after fuch Appoint-
ment shall be made, fo long as he fhall continue in the faid Office,
well and truly collect, get in and receive, or use his best Endeavours
well and truly to collect, get in and receive, all and fingular the Rents,
Iflues, Revenues and Profits which fhall arife or grow due to His
Majefty, or which fhall have arifen or grown due and remain in Ar-
rear to His Majefty, his Heirs or Succeffors, from or out of or for or
in refpect of His Majefty's faid Honors, Caftles, Manors, Lands,
Tenements, Rents, Services and other Hereditaments and Poffeffions,
of which he the faid A. B.
fhall be so appointed Receiver as
aforefaid; and alfo if he the faid A. B.
fhall and do from
time to time, for and during fo long time as he shall continue in the
faid Office, well and faithfully make up, or caufe to be made up
annually, a true and perfect Account in Writing of all Sums of
Money whatfoever, which fhall have arifen or become due and pay-
able unto His Majefty, his Heirs or Succeffors, and which he the said

by virtue of his faid Office, or any Perfon or Per-
fons by any Authority from him, or by or with his Privity, Consent
or Direction, fhall at any time have levied, collected or received, in

refpect of any of the Eftates or Poffeffions of His Majefty, his Heirs or Succeffors, of which he the said A. B.

fhall be fo appointed Receiver as aforefaid; and do and fhall tranfmit the fame Account to the Commiffioners for the time being of His Majesty's Woods, Forefts and Land Revenues, or to the Surveyor General for the time being of His Majefty's Land Revenues, at or within fuch time or times as is or are in and by an Act paffed in the Fifty fixth Year of the Reign of His Majesty King George the Third, intituled [infert the Title of this A&] directed in that Behalf, or as the faid Commiffioners or Surveyor General fhall, by any Order in Writing, from time to time require, and do and fhall pass and verify every fuch Account in the manner directed by the faid A&t; and if he the faid A. B. do and fhall well and truly anfwer and pay all fuch Balances as fhall be or become due to His Majefty upon the periodically making up of every fuch Account as aforefaid, and all fuch Sum or Sums of Money as fhall be from time to time required to be paid on account thereof prior to the afcertaining fuch Balances, either by any Debenture or Inftrument in Writing from the Auditor or acting Auditor, or by any Order in Writing from the Commiffioners for the time being of His Majefty's Woods, Forefts and Land Revenues, or any two of them, or from the Surveyor General for the time being of His Majefty's Land Revenues, to fuch Perfon or Perfons, at fuch time or times, and Office or Place, and in fuch manner as he the said A. B. fhall be directed or required by any fuch Debenture, Inftrument or Order to pay the fame; and in default of fuch Direction or Requifition, to fuch Perfons, and in fuch manner, and at fuch time or times as the Receivers of His Majefty's Land Revenues were immediately before the paffing the faid Act, by the Laws and Statutes then in force and the Ufage and Practice in that Behalf bound or required to answer, render and pay the Balances of their respective Accounts and any Sums of Money on account of fuch Balances; and if the faid A. B. do and fhall, once at least in every Year fo long as he fhall continue in the faid Office, view and furvey every Part of all fuch Eftates of which he fhall be fo appointed Receiver as aforefaid, as he shall in the Execution of the Duties of his faid Office, under the Provifions of the faid Act, be required to view and furvey, and examine and infpe& the Field Books kept by the Leffee or Leffees, Occupier or Occupiers, Tenant or Tenants thereof refpectively, and do and shall, within Two Calendar Months after every such Survey shall be made or taken as aforefaid, tranfmit to the Commiffioners for the time being of His Majefty's Woods, Forefts and Land Revenues, or to the Surveyor General for the time being of His Majefty's Land Revenues, a true and faithful Report in Writing of the State and Condition of the Eftates and Premises fo furveyed, and of the Cultivation and Management thereof, and how far the Covenants or Agreements under which the fame are or shall be held have been obferved or performed, or whether the fame have been in any and what refpects broken or infringed, and all fuch Circumftances relating thereto as shall have come to the Knowledge of him the faid A. B. or refpecting which he fhall have obtained Information in the Course of his faid Survey or otherwise, together with his Opinion thereon; and if he the said A. B. shall and do within the Space of One Calendar Month after he shall at any time have received or got into his Hands any Sum or Sums of Money belonging to The Crown, exceeding the Sum of Five hun

dred Pounds, give Notice thereof in Writing to the Commiffioners for the time being of His Majefty's Woods, Forefts and Land Revenues, or to the faid Surveyor General for the time being of His Majesty's Land Revenues; and also if he the faid A. B. shall and do, during fo long time as he fhall continue in the faid Office, well and truly execute all fuch Duties as are required by the faid Act to be performed by Perfons holding any fuch Office, and obferve, obey, perform and execute all fuch Orders, Rules and Inftructions as he hath received or shall from time to time receive from the Lords Commiffioners of His Majesty's Treasury for the time being, or any Three of them, (to be fignified by any Minute of the faid Lords Commiffioners in Writing, or by Letter from any One of their Secretaries in pursuance of any fuch Minute,) or from the Chancellor or Under Treasurer of the Exchequer for the time being, or from the Commiffioners for the time being of His Majesty's Woods, Forefts and Land Revenues, or any Two of them, or from the Surveyor General for the time being of His Majefty's Land Revenues, touching or concerning the Premifes or the Execution of the Office or Employment aforefaid; and if he the faid A. B. shall and do in all other Refpects faithfully and truly execute and perform the Duties of the faid Office, and all the Trufts which fhall be reposed in him as fuch Officer as aforefaid, then the above written Obligation fhall be void, otherwise the same shall be and remain in full Force and Virtue.

'His prefent Majefty, intituled An Ad for granting to His Majefty 'satil Twelve Months after the Ratification of the Definitive Treaty ' of Peace, certain additional Duties of Excife in Great Britain, and certain additional Duties of Excise on Tobacco and Snuff imported

An Act to fufpend, until the Fifth Day of April One thoufanc
eight hundred and twenty, the Duty on Lead exported from
Great Britain.
[11th April 1816.
HEREAS by an Act paffed in the Forty ninth Year of His
prefent Majefty's Reign, intituled An Ad for repealing the
feveral Duties of Customs chargeable in Great Britain, and for grant-
ing other Duties in lieu thereof; and by one certain Schedule marked
(A.) Outwards, annexed to the faid Act, a Duty of Cuftoms
is to be raised, levied, collected and paid unto His Majefty, his
Heirs and Succeffors, in ready Money, of Three Pounds and
Ten Shillings upon Lead, caft or uncaft, the Ton containing Twenty
hundred Weight, exported from Great Britain: And Whereas it
is expedient to fufpend for a limited time the faid Duty;' Be it
therefore enacted by The King's Moft Excellent Majefty, by and
with the Advice and Confent of the Lords Spiritual and Temporal,
and Commons, in this prefent Parliament affembled, and by the
Authority of the fame, That from and after the paffing of this A&
the Payment of the faid Duty for or in respect of fuch Lead, on the
Exportation thereof from any Part of Great Britain, fhall be fuf-
pended until the Fifth Day of April One thoufand eight hundred
and twenty.

CAP. XIX.

An Act to continue until the Fifth Day of July One thousand eight hundred and fixteen, an Act of the Forty seventh Year of His prefent Majefty, for granting an additional Bounty on double refined Sugar exported. [11th April 1816.]

WHEREAS an additional Bounty on double refined Sugar

granted and allowed by an Act paffed in the Forty feventh Year of His prefent Majefty, intituled An Act to allow for Two Years from and after the paffing of this A& an additional Bounty on double refined Sugar, and to extend former Bounties on other refined Sugar to fuch as fball be pounded, crashed or broken; and to allow for One Year certain Bounties on British Plantation raw Sugar exported; and which faid additional Bounty on double refined Sugar has been by feveral fubfequent Acts continued until the Fifth Day of April One thoufand eight hundred and fixteen = • And Whereas it is expedient that the faid additional Bounty on • double refined Sugar fhould be further continued ;' Be it therefore enacted by The King's Moft Excellent Majefty, by and with the

An Act to make further Provifion for the Execution of the
feveral Acts relating to the Revenues, Matters and Things
under the Management of the Commiffioners of Customs
and Port Duties, and of the Commissioners of Inland Excife
and Taxes, in Ireland.
[11th April 1816.]

Bounty on
double refined

WHEREAS the Commiffioners of Cuftoms and Port Duties
and the Commiffioners of Inland Excife and Taxes in
Ireland refpectively, pursuant to the Powers and Authorities in
them vefted by Law for that Purpose, have been used and
accuftomed to appoint, in and for the feveral and respective Districts
in Ireland (except the District of Dublin), a Number of Sub
'Commiffioners for the Purpose of hearing, trying and determining
all Complaints and Informations for the Recovery of Fines, Penalties
and Forfeitures impofed by the feveral Acts in force in Ireland
relating to the Revenues of Cuftoms, Excife or Taxes refpectively;
and Three of fuch Sub Commiffioners or the Majority of them,
have been used and accuftomed to give Judgment and award Exe-
'cution thereon: And Whereas Doubts have arifen whether in cases
where the Sub Commiffioners of any Diftrict exceed Five in
Number the Majority of fuch Sub Commiffioners be not necessary
to conftitute a competent Court to hear, try and determine any
fuch Complaint or Information: For the removing of the faid
Doubts, be it enacted by The King's Moft Excellent Majefty, by
and with the Advice and Confent of the Lords Spiritual and
Temporal, and Commons, in this prefent Parliament affembled, and
by the Authority of the fame, That from and after the paffing of
this A&t all Complaints and Informations for the Recovery of any
Fine, Penalty or Forfeiture for any Offence againft or any Breach of
any Act or Acts in force or to be in force in Ireland, relating to any lin) may be de-
