11 Of whom 6 w we have many things to say, and hard to be uttered,? seeing ye are * dull of hearing
12 For when for the time ye ought to be teachers, ye have need that one teach you again whicho be the first principles of the oracles of God; and are become such as have need of milk, and not of strong 10 meat.
13 For every one that useth milk is unskilful in " the word of righteousness : for he is a babe.

John, xvi. 12: I have yet many things to say unto you, but ye
cannot bear them now. * Isa. xxviii. 10: They would not hear. Mat. xiii. 15 : This people's heart is waxed gross, and their ears are dull of hearing, and their eyes they have closed. 1 Cor. iii. 1: 1, brethren, could not speak unto you as unto spiritual, but as unto carnal, even as unto babes in Christ. 2 Pet. iii. 16: In which are some things hard to be understood, which they that are unlearned and unstable wrest, as they do also the other Scriptures, unto their own destruction.

THEREFORE leaving the principles of the doctrine of Christ, let us go on unto perfection ; not laying again the foundation of repentance from dead works, and of "faith toward God,

your work and labour of love, which ye have showed toward his name, in that ye have 'ministered to the saints, and do minister.
11 And? we desire that every one of you do show the same diligence to the full assurance of hope unto the end :
12 That ye be not y slothful, but followers of them who through faith and patience inherit the promises.
13 For when God made promise to Abraham, because he could swear by no greater, he sware by himself,
14 Saying, Surely blessing I will bless thee, and multiplying I will multiply thee.
