In the Night between the 3d and 4th Inftant, the Corpfe of the late King was deliver'd, without any Ceremony, at Ofnabrug, into the Hands of the prefent King of Great Britain's Officers, and conducted to our Frontiers by a Detachment of the Duke of York and Bishop of Ofnabrug's Lite Guards, who were there relieved by a Detachment of the Regiment of Dragoons of Wenden, which guarded the Proceffion two Nights; after which it was escorted by a Detachment of Dragoons of the Regiment of Pont Pietin as far as the Plain between Able and Limmer, where 60 of our Life-Guards received it at Midnight, and conducted it hither, the Cavalcade arriving about One o'Clock before the Gate of Callemberg. The Baron Von Goertz, Governor of the Cafle, had the Direction of the Funeral, which he caused to enter the Town in the following Order.

2 A Trumpeter on Horfeback in deep Mourning. 3. A Coach with 6 Horses, wherein fat the late Kings Surgeon and Valets.

16 Being arrrived in the firft Caftle Yard, 16 Colonels or Lieutenant Colonels took the Coffin, and bore it upon their Shoulders to the Vault, which was finely illuminated; as were alfo the whole Church, and the Quadrangles of the Castle.

17 Twelve Pages, with Flambeaux in their Hands, attended the Corpfe bare-headed to the Place where it was depofited.

It being Fair Time with us, and confequently many Strangers in the Town, 1000 Men of our Garrifon were order'd to be under Arms till Two o'Clock, to prevent Disorders. Part of thofe Troops flood in Lines, and prefented their Pieces while the Body Coach was paffing by. Notwithstanding the unfeasonable Time of Night when the Burial was perform'd, there was a great Concourfe of People from all Parts, to fee, with Tears in their Eyes, this laft Honour paid to their late Sovereign, once the Joy and Delight of his Subjecs.
