The Pleasure of His Will is written primarily to debunk some of the age-old misconceptions and misunderstanding of God's will. Far from being a mystery unfathomable or anything akin to crystal-balling, we can know His will for our lives in as far as His moral will is concerned. Once we know that the rest is a question of obedience. We have a choice to make because God's will is not a fatalistic imposition on our lives. The book also deals with the subject of God's will in 2 key areas, namely, marriage and career. A final chapter on God's will for Christians to exist as a community and that individualism is not God's will for the Body of Christ takes the subject to an ecclesiastical platform. Dr Tan Tee Khoon is currently the General Secretary of the Fellowship of Evangelical Students (FES) and a Local Preacher of The Methodist Church in Singapore.
