P. 494. The late Mr. Kenton's difpofition of his property is fu truly benevolent, and at the fame time fo judicious, that we gladly embrace the opportunity of exhibiting the correct particulars of his will.

He defires to be buried in the chancel of the parish church of Stepney, near to the remains of his wife and family; and directs that a monument be erected, at an expence not exceeding 300l. He gives to his executors and trustees the fum of 8cool. Bank Stock, the dividends of which are to be paid to Mr. Charles Smith dung his life, and the principal to be divided among his children after his death. He gives his freehold and copyhold efta es to the fame truitees, for the benefit of the male heirs of the faid Charles Smith; and in default of male heirs, to his daughters. He gives the produce of his leafehold eftates to the fame trustees, to form an accumulated fund for the benefit of all the children of the faid Charles Smith. He directs his furniture, plate, linen, watches, jewels, books, and quors, to be fold, and the produce to be vefted in the publick funds, in the names of the trustees, to form part of the above accumulated fund for the benefit of all the children of the faid Charles Smith: but, in default of affue, all the foregoing truft property to veft in Mr. David Pike Watts.

He directs the following benefactions to be paid within fix months after his death. To the Charity-School in Eaft Smithfield, 5col; the Charity-School of St. Mary, Whitechapel, 5ool.; the like in Stepney, 500l.; the Charity for the relief of poor Clergymen's Widows, 5ool.; the

to 20,000l.; to the Sunday-School Soety in London, 30cl.; to the Vintners Company, 2000l. to their general fund, and 2050k to re-build their Alms-house, at MileEnd, and 2001, more to be placed out in the public funds, and the interest to be diftributed among the poor women in the faid Alms-house, after deducting two guineas to be paid to a clergyman of the Church of England, for preaching an annual fermon.
