meetest him that rejoiceth, and worketh righteousness; those that remember thee in thy ways: behold, thou art wroth: for we have sinned: in those is continuance, and we shall be saved. But we are all as an unclean thing, and all our righteousnesses are as filthy rags; and we all do fade as a leaf; and our iniquities, like the wind, have taken us away. And there is none that calleth upon thy name, that stirreth up himself to take hold of thee: for thou hast hid thy face from us, and hast consumed us, because of our iniquities. But now, O Lord, thou art our Father we are the clay, and thou our potter; and we are the work of thy hand. Be not wroth very sore, O Lord, neither remember iniquity for ever. Come, and let us return unto the Lord: for he hath torn, and he will heal us; he hath smitten, and he will bind us up. After two days will he revive us in the third day he will raise us up, and we shall live in his sight. Then shall we know, if we follow on to know the Lord his going forth is prepared as the morning and he shall come unto us as the rain, as the latter and former rain unto the earth.

I will look unto the Lord; I will wait for the God of my salvation: my God will hear me. Rejoice not against me, O mine enemy: when I fall, I shall arise; when I sit in darkness, the Lord shall be a light unto me.
