Sephora: A Hebrew Tale

1835. This work is a Hebrew tale descriptive of the country of Palestine and of the manners and customs of the ancient Israelites. This unpresuming work gives such an exhibition of the domestic and social state of the Jews, just before the time when our Savior entered on his public ministry, that the reader becomes in a sense contemporary. Due to the age of the original, our reproduction is spotty in places, but well worth reading!
