ACKNOWLEDGEMENTS TO CORRESPONDENTS. A Correfpondent, who figns himfelf Verax, has favoured us with a curious piece of Literary information. It is this, that the Latin Verfion of the 122d Pfalm, which Bishop Horne mentioned in the firft edition of his Paraphrafe, and printed in the third, as the work of Zuinger, a Physician at Bafil, and which is alfo printed as fuch by Melchior Adam, in the Life of Zuinger, is only the Verfion of Buchanan, adapted to the language of the Christian difpenfation, instead of the Jewish, by a few flight changes. Buchanan's Pfalms were published by Henry Stephanus at Paris in 1565, twentythree years before the death of Zuinger. On collating the two Verfions, it is clear that our Correfpondent is perfectly right; and the circumftance is remarkable, as clearing up a miflake, into which Bifhop Horne has very excufeably fallen.

The Old Clergymen, who gave us a hint refpecting a certain author, may be affured that we were not uninformed, by other means, of the merits, or rather demerits of the cafe. We fhall not, however, forget their intimation.
