Satisfaction made upon the Crofs for the Sins of the World, that I may fo importunately plead the Merit of it, in this Commemoration of that Sacrifice, as to render thee gracious and propitious to me, a miferable Sinner; fuch a Conviction of my own Weakness and Infufficiency, as may procure thy gracious Aid and Affistance; fuch longing Defires of being made conformable to thy holy Will and Pleasure, as may transform me into thy divine Image, and fix me to continue thy faithful Servant, all the remaining Days of my Life, through the Merits of Jefus Chrift my Saviour. Amen.
A Prayer when we offer our Alms.
Acknowledge, O Lord, that all I poffefs is the Effect of thy Bounty; it is from thee I have received it, and to thy holy Name be the Glory. Accept of this Freewill-offering of my Hands, as an Acknowledgment of thy Right to all I enjoy, and as a Teftimony of that Love and Charity to my neceffitous Brethren which thou requireft, and art pleased to take as done to thyfelf. I will dedicate a Part of those good Things thou hast bestowed upon me,
to relieve the Poor; because thou haft made it an Evidence of my Love to thee: And grant that all my Alms-Deeds may be performed with fuch Purity of Intention, and in fuch a Proportion to what thou haft given me, that they may be acceptable in thy Sight, through the Merits of Jefus Chrift, my Lord and Saviour. Amen.
A Prayer immediately after Confecration.
ACCEPT, O Eternal God, of that Reprefentation we make before thee, of that All-sufficient Sacrifice which thy Son our Saviour Jefus Chrift made upon the Crofs: Let the Merit of it plead effectually for the Pardon and Forgiveness of all my Sins, and render thee favourable and propitious to me a miferable Sinner; let the Power of it prevail against all the Powers of Darkness; let the Wifdom of it make me wife unto Salvation; and let the Peace of it reconcile me unto thee, and bring to me Peace of Confcience.
I adore thee, O bleffed Jefus, my Redeemer, who didft endure the painful and fhameful Death of the Crofs, to recover me from a State of Sin and Mifery: I admire, thy infinite Condefcenfion, who was pleafed
to be made miferable, that I might be made happy; poor, that I might be enriched; and didft die that I might live for ever. With all my Soul, O dear Jefus, I love and praise thee for thefe ftupendous Expreffions of thy Bounty and Goodness towards me; O Lamb of God, that takest away the Sins of the World, have Mercy upon me: 0 Lamb of God, that takeft away the Sins of the World, grant grant me thy Peace. Amen, Lord Jefus. Amen.
