But now he lives forevermore :

O'er worlds below and worlds above 1 5 Forever reign, victorious King!
Wide through the earth thy name be known; And call my longing soul to sing
Sublimer anthems near thy throne. 543

And cry, 'Behold, he prays.'

The Christian's native air ;
He enters heaven with prayer.
The Holy Spirit pleads;
For sinners intercedes.

Encouragement to Prayer.
His children when they cry?
He'll help them from on high.
Engage him on their side;
And can they be denied ?
And never faint in prayer:
And makes our cause his care. 549
Brewer. St. Paul
L. M. Waterville. St. Paul,
Look up to thy divine abode,
Before a just and holy God?
And dazzling glories vail thy face ;
Thy throne is still a throne of grace.
May Jesus plead our humble claim,
In his prevailing, glorious name.
Support our hope-our trust invite; > Again attend our humble prayer;Let mercy still be thy delight.
Calmar. Hudson. 551
The prayer we offer now;
To thee all nations bow !
On earth be done in love,
Thy perfect law above !
While by thy word we live;
Forgive-as we forgive.
From Satan's wiles defend;
And guide us to the end. mf 5 Thine shall forever be
Glory and power divine;
Of heaven and earth are thine. mp 6 Thus humbly taught to pray
By thy beloved Son,
* All for his sake be done !!
