all the world; exhorting him to forgive from the bottom of his heart all perfous that have offended him, and if he hath offended any other to ask their forgiveness; and where he hath done wrong or injury to any man, that he make amends to the uttermost of bis power. And if he bath not before difpofed of his goads, let him then be admonished to make his Will, and to declare bis debts what he oweth, and what is owing to him, for the better difcharging of his Confcience, and the quieting of bis Executors. But men should be often put in remembrance to take order for the fettling of their temporal estates whilst they are in health.
The Prieft should not omit earnestly to move fuch fick perfons as are of ability, to be liberal to the poor.

Lord, look down from heaven, behold, vifit, and relieve this thy fervant. HEAR us, Almighty and moft merciful God and Saviour; extend thy accustomed goodness to this thy fervant, who is grieved with Sicknefs. Sanctify, we beseech thee, this thy fatherly correction to him; that the fenfe of his weakness may add strength to his faith, and seriousness, to his repentance. That if it fhall be thy good pleasure to restore him to bis former health, be may lead the refidue of his life in thy fear and to thy glory; or elfe give him grace fo to take thy vifitation, that after this painful life ended, he may dwell with thee in life everlasting, through Jefus Chrift our Lord. Then the Priest hall ftand up, and laying his band upon the fick perfon's head, he shall abfolve him if he humbly and heartily defire it) after this fort. And the fame form of Abfolution fball be used in all private Confeffions.
If the fick perfonis vifited conftantly, Abfolution is to be repeated no oftner, than as the Prieft Shall fee just cause; and when it is omitted, the Prieft fhall then proceed directly to the Collect which is next after this Absolution.
