WHAT IS RELIGION?
( Continued from Vol. xiii. p. 328.)
Q. What is Religion?
A. The knowledge of God and of ourselves, influencing
the heart and regulating our conduct at all times ; as well
in the smallest actions as in the more important affairs of
life.
Q. What is the foundation of all Religion?
A. The belief in a God; for " he that cometh to God
must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek Him." Heb. xi. 6. By faith, or be- lief in Christ, we are made partakers of the benefits of his death and sufferings. True faith must show itself VOL. XIV. no. 1.
